Sick of the kids!!!

Untrue, while there are adults that might act like kids the majority of 'problems' are caused by kids fasinated with guns or other irritating scripts. I would bet almost anything that their parents either 1. don't know about SL or 2. don't know about the sex that is involved with SL.



This is an 18+ grid, anyone found to be underage that cannot prove they are overage if it is brought to a Linden's attention should be banned or sent to the teen grid. I have reported underage people. This one kid was 12 years old and hanging out in escort clubs and other spots that I'm sure his parents wouldn't have wanted their little boy doing. I had proof he was 12. LL said they "resolved" the issue. I still see him loging in daily.




I almost always discrimate against people with no info on file. I don't care if they are the most honest and nice person in the world. Anyone and everyone can now make a SL account and do whatever they want with NO consequences. This is a way to ensure the happiness and well-being of the residents that aren't there to cause problems. I do need to mention, however, that this is not discrimation between free and paid accounts. The free accounts can still have payment info on file or used, same as the paid accounts. And for you claiming you want "trust" shouldn't you "trust" a company such as SL with your credit card info?

I dont care what company it is theres thefts out there. maybe you should be uptight about your credit card. some people dont even have credit cards and people are..discrimanateing against them..

Actually this is a misconception. You are more likely to have your identity stolen by people going through the junk mail you throw away, credit card reciepts you leave in your car, stealing your purse on the street... all of these methods are much more common than internet identity theft. It happens, but it's not the enormous issue people believe it is.

At the end of the day, alot of children these days are in some cases, much more mature than some adults. Before we start judging children, why don't we sort ourselves out as adults?

Children don't start wars, children don't cause poverty, children don't have affairs .... I wish other adults would stop judging children for being immature when many children these days are much wiser and much more mature than some adults that I know.

When I was younger, I had this same problem .. I was mature. And everyone treated me like I was a trouble-maker because I was a teenager. I find it disgusting and disrespectful.

Another thing .. where do children get all these ideas and habits? They learn them .. from who? ADULTS!

What I get tired of is EVERY DAY having to spend 20 minutes out of every hour porting back people in my RP because we are attacked by 20 foot T-rex, some guy in a mec suit or a pair of idiots with push guns. I don't CARE how old these people are. I didn't join up here to spend my time on top of a wall with a sniper rifle, waiting for asshats making trouble with the SIM. I want to RP NOT babysit!!

WHAT? You mean I will not get exp by shooting bosses? Man, I was buying some armor to attack Linden mini-bosses. Do they drop items anyway?

You mean you can be killed anywhere anytime without the health bar?

No... not really. It means you get push, orbitted, annoyed, if someone shoots you using scripted weapons on push enabled lands. And combat zones only TP you home when you die. The other way, well, it can crash your client, send you to the "OMG, nothing is here! WHERE AM I?!" zone that looks like the horizon with only the moon.. or it could turn you into a huge bouncing yo-yo.

That's only on Push enabled. Where the push is disabled, you don't have this unless the idiot(s) belong the group or are the owner of the sim or it's an object you own acting on YOU.


And age has nothing to do with maturity. I know a 4 1/2 year old that is more mature than some of the adults I've dealt with in game. I know a 96 year old who wants to behave like a spoiled rotten 2 year old and throws a fit if he doesn't get his way. Nope, maturity has nothing to do with age.

I vote LL create NPC guards for every sim. The Sim/Land owner can tell them to KOS Specific intruders.

ok in my opinion, kids being on SL the adult grid is not about being mature or immature, its not about respect or disrespect. the fact is this is an adult only grid for ages 18 years of age and up. pure and simple. kids being on the adult grid is more of a legal problem in my opnion not only to LL but for me as well. i don't want to have watch every little thing i say or do simply because some mom or dad gets upset cause their kid overheard or saw me doing something they weren't supposed to see.

but is this the kids fault? no, not in my opinion, i blame it on the parents. as its they who are supposed to be watching their kids making sure they don't get into trouble while online. when my nephew came over awhile back, i let him play my video games online, but i sat directly behind him watching over his shoulders.

many parents allow their kids to have pc's in their rooms. i think its not good because they can't watch to make sure their kids aren't experiencing problems. there are way to many pedopfiles out there to take chances with kid's safety.

but again, this has nothing to do with the maturity of a kid on SL, its the simple rule that only adults that are 18 years of age or older. if you are 17 or under, you need to be on the teen grid. if you are found on the adult grid and it can be proven that you are underage then you should be removed or placed on the teen grid till your 18th birthday.

oh btw i don't care what account type you have, you act like an ass, you'll be treated like one i've seen a few kids on sl in the last year or so that were using their parent's account. so its just as easy for a kid to use a "no info on file" account as it is for them to use one with verified info.

I truly think that folks that feel the need to grief have both social and mental inadequacies of one kind or another. One HAS to be sick to a certain degree to enjoy inficting themselves on others. Any Psych majors know what to call it? I prefer Asshat Syndrome myself.

I don`t know about the rest of you...........But I for one am getting to the point in believing that 50% of these non paying accounts are under 18 years old.......

Yea we definatly need something to fix this mess LL put the grid in. They took down their walls and expect us to put up new ones... Like a previus post said, we don't come here to babysit. Do you think us residents ENJOY having to play like this is multiplayer PvP FPS? Most of us come here for educational, business, and recreational purposes, not to watch our backs and protect our communities from cyber terorists... Soon as october comes around (when my premium payment is due) i'm going basic! I refuse to pay for something i don't enjoy the way i used to...

EDIT: or can i go ahead and go basic now and still count as premium till the payment ends?

OK this is getting old, can we stop with the "sick of the kids" things already, there have been about 10 in the past few hours, we get the idea! Yeah we all hate the little kids (hey I just beat one up on the forums not too long ago), I feel your pain. Not saying that we aren't all sick of the kids, they are useless until they're grown arn't they.. awww...

Hey we were all kids once, we know how they feel (atleast I think I do).
