...for all the hard work you do to help the residents of Second Life
...for all the crap you put up with
...for updates that usually turn out great even if they don't work at first

Come on residents, show your appreciation instead of complaining about SL being down.

^ what he said.

It isn't too much to expect service when your paying for it. They push shit out too fast. Period.

I'm completely with you Zak. In a couple years SL will be looked at as being a program that changed the industry. It's a phenomenal feat they're trying to accomplish, and I think we should be giving them as much support as we can.

I thank you for putting up with the crap but lindens.. im sorry but reliability is an important issue and if it means going back and starting from scrath I am ok with it, i hate having to lose a day because the server is down because of some stupid update or something.... Perhaps a better way of finding bugs? idk but something does need to be done.

Not that this hasnt been said a million times but theres no place like SL. And all these ppl complaining about being held back from it for a few hours just further proves that point.

I'm willing to put money on a large majority of those saying get over it are one of two things

free accounts
those without businesses

this is hightime for traffic, and as a result we, those who pay for our accounts, lose out on income,

you can say I'm pointlessley complaining but when i work all week and get a day off, wednesday, and the grids been down every wednesday, it's somewhat disheartening to hand over money for a product that's unuseable or inferior after updates

you go throw 150 USD or more into your account and see exactly how warmed you are about the ordeal

All in all SL has been a wonderful game to play, Ive met alot of new friends and Ive seen people from all walks of life.
Having said that I do wish SL was more stable in their updates but when you are using cutting edge technology and programming skills sometimes you have to bleed. I just wish it wasnt every Wednesday. after all who wants to live their RL lol
come on people Give RL a chance ONE day a week eh?

Add me to this.

And you know what? I love flexi-prims, and I don't care what anyone else thinks about that! :p

Thank you for taking a product and service I PAY to use out of service on my day off each week. I mean come on, space them out further, test them more completely and try altering the day you use to update. I pay for a service and on my day off expect to be able to use it.
I will start thanking them when they start reimbursing paying customers for the time thier product spends off line.

Doomed to failure before it starts - but hey, think about the money you'll save by not needing the divorce court!

I agree, and especially ty Joshua and Jeska who have given at least hourly uptates on the progress being made to reopen the grid. We now have 13 Lindens ingame checking things out so we should be up shortly *crosses fingers*.

Okay so i'm a bit new at this, but i've been a gamer for a hell of a long time.

And i know updates are fun, and we love to improve our games, so we update them for the people as much as we can, but.. is there any way to possibly limit updates to maybe uh, once a month? take more time on making sure they wont screw up, or something? i don't know much about what's going , so i'm trying not to complain too much, I just had some major plans that aren't happening now.

guess i'm just grumpy.

But on a better note, Thanks Lindens for giving me an opportunity to make new friends and able to play a game that isn't a first person shooter or slow boring mmorpg. thanks ;)

(P.S) .. I still -love- FPS. ;>

My SL Wedding was almost ruined due to an update. But we had no other choice then to plan for a Wednesday due to work schedules. We both pay for accounts and should have been able to depend on a working product. I am really happy for all of you who have nothing to do but be on sl or patiently wait for them to fix what they broke. Those of you who can sit at home all day or sit at work and play have it nice.
