From: Burke Prefect Actually. Since I'm running a barebones-ish remix of XP, SL runs pretty damn well on 512mb and 128mb of VRAM. But last night I ran into some kind of huge stutter bug. The system froze for a minute and the hard drive when nuts. All I was doing was panning the camera to get a look at the back audience. My XP is a stripped down peice of awesome too. mixed for exactly what I need, although with a few hardware changes recently, might need to remake it to incorperate different and updated drivers.

It's kind of late now, even the version number mentioned in the thread title is obsolete, but I feel I should still take this opportunity to encourage everyone to be as fearful as poosible about the threat of 1.8.2.8, to run and hide, to build bomb shelters and gas masks and run in circles and scream and shout, to spill their coffee and just generally to put runs in their pantyhose about the terrible ominous menace presented by 1.8.2.8.
We never saw 1.8.2.8, who knows what evils lurks in it's unseen heart?
It's not what you are upset about that counts, just so long as you are extremely upset about something.
