From: IC Fetid Ok, just what is Starax's wand? Lately I've seen references to it in the forums but no actual descripting of what it does. Starax's wand is an item that *wait for it* *drumroll* REZZES STUFF!!! Seriously, I dont see the point, because I can do that without the wand. Oh and I dont see the point of paying the equivalent of US $50 for it either. Unless of course I am missing something that makes it completely worth it? |

Seriously, I dont see the point, because I can do that without the wand.
Oh and I dont see the point of paying the equivalent of US $50 for it either.
Unless of course I am missing something that makes it completely worth it? Sure, but it's fun stuff, that's really well made. |

I think there is more to it than that, and there's a tag game of some sort built into it maybe.
In any case, it's too expensive for me.

There's a tag game in the newer versions, where you build up power over time and try and shoot people to steal theirs. First to a certain amount of power gets a free wand for a friend. It's not that big a deal, though - and especially if you make/provide stuff, it's risky to take part, because some of the players will IM you bogus customer support requests in order to zap you when you teleport in. Fair tactic, but I like to not have to worry about something like that when someone needs help.  I don't know what to do about it being too expensive. I only know one person who got one cheap/free and I haven't seen them around in months. |
