From: ArchTx Edo All of the security systems that I am familiar with allow you to designated a distance around the security device, usually spherical, withing which it detects and acts only on avatars that enter that sphere. So if you set on up on the floor at the middle of your skybox home, for a distance of 30 meters, it would protect the area 30 meters above, below and around the security object. Many like the Psykes will allow you to set up a larger scanning distance zone where it will warm people away, before they enter the teleport home/ push or expell zone. Thanks Jonas and ArchTx you both have been a big help. I have just one more question based on something I read after my post. Does Pyskes work on group owned land? (i.e. the skybox it is protecting is located on land owned by a group rather then an individual).

From: Jennifer Christensen Psyke's Security Orb... you'd not wanna live on the mainland without it! It costs 500 L and is worth it! I live on the mainland and I don't have any security, or any need for it. The minor trouble I've had was easily dealt with by eject/ban. It's not worth wasting L$500 on a non-existant problem. Lewis

From: Geddy Overlord I just use the ban lines... 50M height isnt a terrible eyesore by any means and it keeps away anybody I dont want on my land. Good enough for me! Whereas white lines would keep you coming back.

From: Eryn Curie And, if used to ban EVERYONE, a downright public eyesore. But yeah...it's about as cheap a ban solution as one can get!
To the OP: I'm not sure what your price point is, but the system I use is Psyke's Home Defense orb and it's really not all that pricey for the quality and features you get (I think it's about 500L). It's a pretty smart little gadget; just use it wisely (i.e. the instructions ask that you keep Foreign Land Safe option ON and I strongly suggest you do so the thing doesn't end up attacking people on land you don't own). I use psykes in Serenity Woods. It's a nice affordable boost to the land ban limits we always had. Sure they might add more script lag to the sim but it's something you gota put up with if you want to keep your sim safe.

From: Genvieve Pontoppidan Best ever privacy solution: Buy an island. Best ever free exploration solution: buy an island. Landowner pays the teir, until you help pay that teir, you can shove off.

In contents, you edit the settings notecard, making sure to list yourself as operator. Do /8reset so the settings kick in, and when they do, you can set it to the group, then deed it to group. Voila!
