just wanted to say that I love all of you and I love Second life. I have been experiencing chronic back pain for the last 2 weeks where I cant sleep for more then an hour or so at a time before I wake up to an agonizing muscle spasms in my back. Its made me realize how very Important Second Life is to me and how very Important each and every resident In second life is. Even through all the pain I know i can log in to second life and get away for a time before I get tired and pass out again. Or it could just be the really good pain killers and muscle relaxant that the doc prescribed me

I've got this HUGE poofy pillow I use for this, and it's helped my back alot -- since I work on my feet in a retail job, my back and knees really hurt sometimes, and I've used this pillow to help me sleep. <hugs>

I'm hoping the "mussel spasms" can be attributed to the medication and sleep deprivation, but it may be worse than we know; there may be mussels spasming in crucial's back as we speak.

I love me also, thanks.
Sorry about your back problem. I pulled my back pretty hard at work and it took about a year for it to get better. I have a new respect for older folks that hunch over in pain. They look exactly how I felt.
I hope you feel better soon.

Dearest crucial, we barely know each other, but from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the best. I still remember those first posts you made, just saying good morning. Modern society often eschews such pleasantries for the sake of efficiency, so it was something rather unique and very sweet of you to do that. I hope you will be back soon to wish us all a very cheerful "good morning"

No, it wasn't pedantry. A pedant might be obsessive about correcting mistakes, but he or she won't just totally ignore the burden of a significant message when doing so, especially when the mistake is such an obvious one. That is something else entirely, and I wouldn't like to guess what it is.

I stressed my back from too much driving back and forth at one point. Sleeping on my side (with a pillow between the knees) or on my back (with pillow under knees) really really helped! (Plus, ummmm, lots of drugs. Good ones.) That will take care of your muscles. Those slimy little mussels can take care of themselves, though, for all I care. (Or maybe they can join the Spelling Police? Slime = mussels = S.P. I think it works!)

Hey crucial buddy, sorry to hear about the pain. Hope it passes soon. I had a bad back once and then my doctor precribed Vioxx and it worked wonderfully for 3 years. But then they took if it off the market and I remember feeling like my life was over. But it turned out I was okay and didn't need them anymore. I felt like someone had handed me a miracle. I hope your miracle comes along. One thing that used to help me, don't know if it will work for you, but I'll share it with you. A cold tub of water. It seemed to quiet the pain a little. Just don't add ice and don't fall asleep, we all know what happens if you do, you'll end up in Nigeria. LOL From: crucial Armitage just wanted to say that I love all of you and I love Second life. OH! Back pain can be the worst and then you add in sleep deprivation. I'm so sorry, I do hope it gets better very very soon. And yes thank goodness for SL sometimes and for the support and love of good friends. I know that feeling and wholeheartedly agree.
