Dear Linden Labs,
I'm sure you've seen by the numerous posts, theres a problem. It's called "Necroposting"
Now you have about 20 people complaining about this, and a certain someone behind it all. So when will you do something about it? Obviously if you have a handful of people complaining about the same person doing the same damn thing, theres a problem, RIGHT?
This person is not bumping old threads to continue on a topic, but for self sastisfaction and to light old flames. I personally have been attacked because of "necroposting" and all you did was lock the thread. Does this stop people from still reading it? hell no.
Now any other online community would give a flat out ban for bumping old threads only to flame at someone.
Do you wish to continue allowing players hurting other players?
I don't post to the forums much at all, you know why? All people here do is bitch, flame and insult other players in any way possible, and all you do is slap them on the wrists. I can't find me ONE THREAD without some sort of comment by someone flaming someone else for saying something.
Now opinions are fine, but when your opinion says "well I disagree you FUCKING ASSHOLE" thats not cool, yet I see alot of threads like this, and I see nothing being done about it.

Which always confuzzled me cuz, like, firstly, you're not allowed to transfer accounts. More correctly I should say THE REST OF US are not allowed to, but I guess it proves that there is a point where you're forking over enough cash to LL that you are above the 'laws' everyone else have to abide by. And secondly, I just don't get why anyone would pay good money for an account with a reputation like Zoeys. Anyhoo, the 'certain someone' she refers to in her rather classic post here is me. But then I don't see how it's really my fault if she writes to boast about her questionable escapades in the forums and then some time later it rises to the surface again like a stubborn turd and a few new business acquaintances that were blissfully unaware of her past deeds and behaviour should find out and be less than happy? What she's really complaining about is that people can still read about her old evil self after she tried to reinvent herself as a good little business girl. But she's just projecting blame, of course; it would have taken more than little old me to make people forget Zoey's past, and as far as I'm concerned, anyone going into partnership with anyone in SL would do well to make a search of the forums for their posts as a matter of course - no one can tell you so much about a person as they can with their own words and opinions. And Zoeys told us all anyone needed to know about what kind of a person she is. Now that's not my fault, now is it?! /me waves to whichever avie Zoey is in now  |
