OK I normally don't have a huge issue with the weekly updates... But today for some reason I feel like I'm going insane. Maybe its because I finally have a whole day off my job and I'm looking forward to doing whatever I want... Or, I'm just being terribly impatient with no real reason or excuse

i know how you feel! i usually sleep in to about the time they have the update up and running lol but today i'm awake early! arg...
anyone know where i can find a clock that tells me what time it is in game? so i can get on when it's ready? lol |

I know that sl is 3hours behind me.. and its 1:42 here now... and the updating is supposed to be done at 12 sl time... so we have about another hour and 18 min... something like that

I was totally prepared for todays update... so no withdrawls.
The grid crash the other night? SERIOUS withdrawls then... was bitching at people on Y and going nuts! When I know an update is coming I just stay up really late and sleep through as much of it as possible.. LOL |

I think they choose to do the updates at this time mainly because its generally the time when most people are at work... And I know that isn't the case for our friends in the UK and I know for me the 7am thing is 4am in Hawaii so its all backwards in my opinion... Thats what I get for living in the middle of the ocean

If they need to do weekly updates, why don't they do them late late at night when no one wants to get on? It seems like everytime I want to log on its down for maintenance. You'd think something so well maintained wouldn't crash so much.

Cousin, remember that SL is international... what is late late at night for you isn't for other people, so someone will always be disadvantaged. The typical upgrade time for me is evening (I live in Australia), so that's my prime SL time gone of a Wednesday evening. |
