Normal Mapping textures on prims.

What we surely don't need in SL are comments such as this. You are in no position to dictate who should and shouldn't be in SL - Linden Lab is. It's not the first time he has made such comments, either. He didn't want people like the Suicide Girls in SL either. Thankfully, as you said, he is in no position to have any effect on who is or is not allowed in SL. _____________________

It is a beautiful thing - every time I see it, I think of how much it would improve SL to have such beautiful scenery, compared to the crap ground textures and limited amount of trees we have now. _____________________

Have you seen SpeedTree in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion? Yup, it's lovely. I've spent a lot of time in there lately, just wandering about exploring. It's a very 'real' world. Not a 'shiny™' cartoon world. Not only that, some of the NPIs are quite entertaining too! _____________________
All very well for people to have a sig that exhorts you to 'be the change' - I wonder if it's ever occurred to them that they might be something that needs changing...?

As for texture theft, this is impossible to stop without lagging the hell out of the already laggy world. Basically, there exists a program which can pull textures out of your video card's memory. This works entirely on your OS's architecture and has nothing to do with LL's actions or inactions thereof. I can see why your ticked, but try thinking from their side for a change... Well Id definitly like source prims to stop nudging when I clone em.. prims to stop randomly dissapearing.. my objects to stop magically unlinking.. hell call it the "building is actually fun" feature oh and.. an issue that is LONG here but never addressed.. textures to apply to all faces of multiple prims when I apply em > : (
I nearly gave up tonight.. I swear it, building is being an ass right now (building please dont report me for this personal attack) How about an outright ban on hiphop apparel (any takers/backers on this? no? no? ... sigh....) _____________________

Group chat mute. YES! Please god please yes do this... Im in the VIP groups for a number of clubs and activites, and as nice as it is to know whats going on there sometimes, if Im out exploring, conversing, or just plain enjoying myself in things not related to those groups... I dont want to hear from those groups! They just feel like spam.. and I dont like spam. Nothing against the groups themselves, i just get tired of closing the windows. |

I would like groups to be treated more like corporations or have an option to become corporations. I started a group for a business. We are entrepeneurs(SP??lol)... I want to have a group treasury and CEO and executive positions. I am willing to pay more to change my group to this. Also founder should have absolute rights over group(unless he is voted out or simply quits). IE: I am founder I should be able to kick an officer I made out of the group if they double cross us somehow or just do not perform. I want to form my group into a financial company. We need an ADVANCED GROUP SYSTEM to facilitate these things. I am not the only person in SL who thinks this would be good. And remember Linden... the more money I make in SL... The More money you make off me! I hope you can accomodate this and would like to hear more from the members on this if they want/dont want this option. Im not saying do away with regular groups but at least give us the option to pay another fee to upgrade to CORPORATE tier and take advantage of a more business oriented system. Before the pants though, I want to see this. _____________________
