Apple Flat widescreen....1920*1200 - 23 inch one. I dont fil the screen completly...
And I wil not tell what my GF in SL calls me.. using that.. (Hi Deir my love!)....

You neglected widescreen resolutions.
I use 1680x1050 and love the widescreen feel - you get a better peripheral vision and it gives a lot more room for inventory / etc. _____________________

I usually have it windowed, as I'm always flicking back and forth between LSL documentation, sound/graphics search sites, Yojimbo and the main window. I just dragged it to a reasonable size but I think it's something random like 1,050 x 762.
If I'm fully in SL and not building, say at a discussion or socialising, or I want to take screenshots, I go full-screen, 1,440 x 900. So no poll vote for me. |

None of the above - 1440x900 Think widescreen. most laptops are now, ALL Apples are, and 19"+ widescreen LCD monitor prices have crashed - it's the coming thing Same with me. I'm on a laptop and my screen resolution is 1440x900.  _____________________

Would someone with a 1280 x 1024 screen resolution be willing to take a screenshot for me? I'll send you something to wear on your HUD and you can send me back the an image of it? FWIW I run your Landmark Pal at 1280x1024 and it looks fine (and I am a UI designer by trade). I'd be happy to test anything you would like. _____________________

I'm at 17" laptop 1680x1050 widescreen 16:9
Jennyfur is 24" 1920x1200 widescreen 16:9 YAY to wide for the reasons Hiro cited above! _____________________

Either a 1920 x 1100 window or a 1400 x 950 window, depending on which machine I'm using. I've got my favorite apps arranged across the top of the desktop for easy access plus access to the windows taskbar below.

Like a lot of people in this thread, I play SL in 1920x1200.
My only complaint about this rez is that it's 16:10 ratio and the Graphics Preferences in SL only allow you to set a 16:9 ratio, which makes SL look like a stretched-aspect kung-fu flick. I had to go into the .ini file and manually set the FOV to 1.60000 for proper 16:10. _____________________

I couldn't remember my resolution without going into my card's setup. Around 3/4 of an 1280 x 800 screen. I usually play in a shrunken window, even though it doesn't do a darn thing for my ATi card

With flat panels becoming so popular these days, it's hard to plan a one-size-fits-all solution. Flat panels don't like to be told to operate in any resolution other than their default. I run SL in a window, but if it were at full screen I wouldn't have any choice but to go with 1280x1024. I might suggest packing multiple versions of your HUD, one for each of the most popular screen sizes (including wide screens).

Well, with my latest HUD, it is possible for it to be multiple sizes. I will eventually make it so that you could switch to "1280 x 1024" mode.

Altho, it's nice to see so many at 1280 x 1024--I wonder how many of you running at that resolution are on flat panels? _____________________

Only reason I run at 1024X768- Ever try typing on anything with a higher resolution?? Looks great for games & Graphics tho! Horrible for other stuff! Can't see the point in Widescreen yet. Just isnt enough to impress me. I still get a kick out of the people who brag about gaming on Widescreen monitors, only to find out they have a really tiny monitor. Now gimme a 65" LCD and I'd be happy as a fly on shit!!
