FOCUS BUGS!!! Inventory issues also are driving me crazy, and I have actually lost inventory three times in the last three days.
Also,
When selling a parcel of land:
* Cannot use the mouse to select the entire price field. I can select all but the first digit. ?!?!?! * After having done the above, I am *frequently* unable to use the mouse to click the "for sale" checkbox. I can tab to it and use space, but simply cannot use the mouse. Not 100% repro, but frequent.

"Regular weekly slot"? I thought we were told they would lay off a little after pissing everyone off so much with their weekly updates?
Seriously LL, every Wednesday we have to forget playing, then we have so many bugs that need fixing, by the time we are actually able to work with the updates its Wednesday again and we have to go through it all over again.
Am I in the twighlight zone or something?

Am I in the twighlight zone or something? More like Groundhog Day. LL announces update, people moan. Update happens, people moan. Two days later, LL annouces update, people moan. Update happens, people moan.

Am I in the twighlight zone or something? I didn't hear anything about the weekly update/maintenance/whatever that has been going on for the past 3 years or so was going to "lay off a little". Anyways, as you notice this patch is releasing alot of bug fixes, so it would be best not to bitch about it AND the bugs in game. If you don't want one, you're going to have the other. And if it makes you feel better, I've been playing just fine since the update. That is besides the camera zoom with mouse not working in some places and the non-scrollable via mouse wheel chat, both of which is getting fixed with the update.

Are they going to revert to the old enter key functionality? It's getting old watching people and myself constantly jumping up and hitting the ceiling.

For your reference, he was implying that downtown that wasn't the schedualed won't be as common, or at do everything in their power to not let it happen. It was referring to an exploit where they had to take down the system for awhile so people couldn't exploit it further. This was around 2am a week or two ago. Edit: Anyways, update or not, the weekly maintenance will stay.

From: Tren Neva ...so it would be best not to bitch about it AND the bugs in game. If you don't want one, you're going to have the other. Yes, I can understand why some people might complain about bugs, and some people might complain about constant patches, but it's baffling how the same person can complain about both without realizing that that makes no sense. The last couple of releases have been mostly bugfix releases, no major new functionality. We need more of these -- probably lots more. Let's not discourage this... Would be nice to see the new group functionality sooner or later, though. It's already been implemented, if it isn't causing major new bugs, it should get slipped in soon. But then let's hold off for a while on new functionality while we continue a steady stream of bugfixes.

We're trying to strike a balance between infrequent, huge releases that increase the risk of major problems, and too frequent, smaller releases. I think you'll see us move away from weekly releases so we can have more time for testing.

The last revision introduced a number of problems. They can't be fixed without downtime to replace old code with new code.
The new version is now available.
This gives those of us who want to a chance to verify that the bug fixes they say they have performed actually work,to check on the uncorrected bugs you know of and don't like ,to check for new bugs that might have been introduced, and file bug reports on any of these or other bugs and report them in the forums.

the weekly updates annoyed the living crap out of me when i had that time off from work
nowdays im @ work and alittle less vibrant about it
but still i would rather see them collectivley fix bugs test the crap out of them on the preview servers and do a monthly update (like every other MMO)
altho in this case it couldnt come fast enugh, the recent updates havent really added ANYTHING but bugs and annoyances
(yes yes i know they fixed 33 bugs last patch, but in the process added 66 heh)

I just went to Siva for a few minutes and crashed while flying with the map open.
At least I could fly with the map open, at some time in the past month or two I wasn't able to.

I would like to see land texture loading problems on private islands fixed, or at least an acknowledgement from Linden Labs that there is a problem. I am getting hacked off with people visiting my island only to be faced with a pile of mud. /111/86/127001/1.html

I want the fix for script editing. Right now script and notecard editing are dreadfully slow when the text is long (a few hundred lines).

From: Osgeld Barmy asset compression @ work I don't think so. It's I'm sure a client-side thing. I think it's more related to the scalable UI. Recall and saving of script is expected to take time, what I'm referring to is the typing/edit speed.

Ya if they actually would fix things they broke that used to work, id be happy as a pig in you know what, and im still not sure that the chat thing is going to be fixed..blah blah the usual Linden double speak, take it how you want it, cause they are doing it how they want it. These updates have NOT been going on 3 yrs, it really just started about hmmm maybe 6 months ago, if that long, ive been in the game 2 yrs, and weekly was never the norm then. And NO it does not make me feel better that your playing the game just fine, what would make me feel better is not to lose $L once a week for 5 or 6 hours, thank you, NOW i feel better.

From: Aodhan McDunnough I want the fix for script editing. Right now script and notecard editing are dreadfully slow when the text is long (a few hundred lines). In the main grid I just copied and pasted the default script so that I had one thousand fifty lines in a script. The typing is working normally. I created a new note, pasted the script's text in there, and the typing is fine.
