nope(Zen). hehe your post on another thread pointed me to that this morning and I got to thinking...

I've got something going very similar though, I'll put a demo together soon.

It seems to work quite well in early tests.

I have made a demo object which is viewable at my place:

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sabulella/242/171/22

basically I used layers and motion (alpha) tweening in Flash to create the transitions in an attempt to make a smooth morphing effect.. its getting closer!!

As far as the 'tweening' it's really no different than using a DV application with some kind of alpha swap transition, i don't want to give the impression that its some magic morphing tool hehe.

This has some good information about converting to .mov from .swf which I did also for this example:

/278/cb/123036/1.html

Flash is good for this kind of thing as it is mainly a tool for web design, you have lots of control over the size and quality of the end resulting movie, but I am going to keep hunting for a suitable free tool that will do the job.

Take a peek and let me know what you think.
