Don't like it, then do something about it

...could someone ask a poll without loaded questions? Yeah do something instead of criticizing what others do. It's easy to say that was bad, if you don't like it, what would you do instead?? Nothing I'll bet. |

We get to chose between 80% less prims or 67% price increase.
Many beautifull sims will dissapear and alot of people are going to leave SL. I just can't believe that anyone is HAPPY about this. |

There seem to be some who are happy with it....
maybe they already have accounts in other worlds like openlife. *lol* What I dont get, is the fact how they do it, they seem so... just into business. Well, wake up, it is like it is. In a business world there is no place for feelings or compassion. No matter if its the truth or not, they say they need more money for the servers, cos we have too many scripts running on an OSS and too many avatars on it. ok, lets try to believe that... But why do they think about a limitation of the scripts and ava's then??? I mean, when they get more money to handle it, why are they thinking about a limitation?? Dont they take the extra money for handling that?? Its like you have to pay for an extra apple, but have to give 2 apples back when you already paid for it. |

I just can't believe that anyone is HAPPY about this. The people who were *not* abusing OS regions are happy they get to keep them. |

LOL we had an ocean OS sim and we dropped it as i don't want to pay the same money for less than i agreed with when we purchased it as an OS for our members to use. So no we were not abusing our OS and no we are not happy with the LL bulls**t ![]() _____________________

i dont generally post but im gonna on this....i rent out a full open space sim from a great guy...have a small store and my home on it...so i get to lose my home or pay an amount i find to be rediculious i will eventually have to pay &125 a month for it....i duont really knwo what there "criteria" is to keep it an openspace...but i take it my home wont be one stayin openspace.....its basically giving someone the rights to somethign and then rippin it away...many people who say cant afford a full sim(ill admit it its way above my price range..and 125 a month is more then i can pay at this time)...with the economic turmoil in the united states im a flat out say any sort of price increase these days for people in the states will cause that product to suffer.....sure if your runnign a club that has 40-50 peeps in it on an openspace sim then i can see a reason why to change it to this new type of sim...but making people who have found the home of there dream(or in my case built the home on sl i have always wanted)suffer for your mistake..is not right thats just my opinion.....yes it does suck, but i will stay on sl for reasons that i dont need to post on here...but believe me if my home is turned into one of these "homesteads"im not sure what i will do.

Uh uhh, wasnt meant in a sarcastic way, just wanted to know - or to show - if ppl are happy with these solutions or not. thats all. maybe some are happy about the delay, maybe some are still sad and angry. if someone has to say something, feel free to do in a post or own thread/poll. |

Quite a conclusive poll. I'm more concerned right now with Lindens who say they want to regain trust, it's actions that achieve trust, not words.

There appears to be two sides to LL these days, the people who genuinely care and work hard to make the code work, the concierge people who are the ones who get most of the flak, and the decision makers, who really dont care about anything except the bottom line.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the ones who get all the hassle, but still try to help, even if sometimes they do ban on a knee jerk reaction, we all have our limits, and to the people working damn hard on the code to try to make SL a better product. However, to the people who make the decisions, then try to con us into thinking that anything we say makes an ounce of difference, I would just like to point out that we pay your wages. I know a company in RL that operates the same way, they do a rubbish job, but have stunning spin and advertising, they only ever get one chance to do a job, and mess it up every time, but that doesnt matter because there is always another sucker who will hire them. This worked well for them for 6 years, now they are running out of people who dont know them, and are losing money. That point will one day come for LL, you can con most of the people some of the time, but you run out of suckers eventually. |

You obviously do Ima, or you wouldn't be traipsing through the threads here. I think you'll find you are in the minority so I wouldn't go shooting your mouth off here or you are likely to get a great, fat, moist, fruity Christmas pud, with Devonshire cream on your face!
