Please let me continue using viewer 1.19 because my video card is not up to handle the new viewer and i can't buy a new card untill a few more months from now,the 1.19 viewer works best for me with the video card i'm using. Just use the cool sl viewer or any of the other alternative viewers, these come in 1.19 versions with all the securety patches and other usefull fixes as wel as the 1.20 and 1.21 versions. |

Add the option '--channel "Josie's Viewer"' to the command line in the shortcut you use to run SL (or in the arguments.txt file in the Resources subdirectory on a Mac). |

I've started noticing an upsurge of that old bugaboo, http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2051 which claims to be resolved. For some reason, with this RC, viewer freezes have restarted for me, after weeks or months of being non-existent. |

some one has probably already mentioned this but i've talked to several people who cant right click and view profiles or send im thru the option ring...i have to either click on their name in the chat or if htey arent talking, search their name out and go from there...meh just a little annoying..

I have noticed that too Dolly, especially in crowded places. I suspect it has something to do with the Avatar Impostor code as I generally find that if I get closer to the avatar it works again. |

Just a thought, isent the new 1.21.6 the fruit of the 1.21 RC's`?
And if so, there is no point what so ever to track down bugs in an outdated RC.

ok i got this problem now with the new version, which unfortunately I had to download
when my poor at limit capacity pc froze yesterday.
At the log in page, it flashes up verifying cached files (takes 60-90 secs) then freezes....its infuriating. It happens on all alt accounts too. The few times i have managed to successful log-in, is when i uninstall and reload the sl programme direct from the website. When i do manage to get on-line, i immediately click the clear cache tab, but it doesn't always work the next time.
It's probably in the thread somewhere, but can someone tell me again please, in simple terms, how to get round this problem? It seems others are going back to the 1.20 version, which didn't apear to be a problem for me before.
Thanks in anticipation, as I am currently holding my pc out the window by its cables....

i'm running the latest RC. i tried logging it and it tells me to download the newer version, so i click download. when i try to install it, it tells me i already have that version installed. i was just on with no problem only a couple of hours before

Ruthven, the trick is not to run the RC - the current "release" version is newer than the RC.

Anyone else having trouble hearing streaming audio at times? Just started happening yesterday after the other standard viewer was issued and then pulled. The "fix" for me is a relog.
