You have to wonder if LL is aware of the imbalance in, well, power-to-attract users between the Blog and these Forums.

Here, the traffic can be estimated from the Views stats on the main page listing the forums and folders.

There...well, so far as I can see (though who knows?) there's no such information available for the Blogs or the Answers pages.


Of course it's all rather moot. Presumably LL will be perfectly content if only 20 or 30 people log onto the Blog or Answers on any given day.

this is so true it should be bronzed. LL would be happy if no one commented at all. I for one have stopped pretty much saying anything on the new blogocarpmatic as its boring, redundent and well... uselss. People are posting there to be the new top dog, or for a few sales from having your name show up on the sidebar.

while my name was there i made sales, now its not cause i hate it so much they've trickled to a stop. If I do post again it will be only for show. I cant imagine these forums even existing at all under the blog format. Nothing thats said here is actually allowed on them as it appears....

Its off to other forums offsite. let the blogs wither down to a few fighting over scraps.

if i sound like its rather demoralizing - it is.

(no i didnt proof read- no i didnt spell check - so sue me. i dont care)

Copy and paste into Word... Print to PDF... or File > Save Page as... (or whatever it says in your browser to save it as a webpage)... Unfortunately in each of these cases, you have to repeat for each page of the thread. Maybe put your settings to show as many posts per page as possible first.
