Now it wouldn't be a planet right?

Since there is a much maligned but popular planet called Gor in its midst.. maybe its a solar system?

There is no "Planet" It's a seies of Islands Floating on a sea in a Massive bowl supported by Four elephants standing on the Back of a Giant Turtle. Honestly, Don't Any of you keep up with Modern celestial sciences?

Isn't it modeled loosely on the metaverse from the novel "Snowcrash?" I tried to read that but sadly couldn't identify with any of the characters.

Actually, they have several by the names of LAG, CRASHES, NO TP'S, BROKEN CONTENT and NO SUPPORT.
With the two largest being Crashes and Broken Content. And the closest being No Support.

Some names, huh?

NONE of them? Golly, I loved all of 'em. Hiro Protagonist (what a name for a lead!) Y.T., the crazy teenybopper skateboarder girl. Uncle Enzo. Mr. Lee's Greater Hong Kong. I felt sorry for Y.T.'s Mom, stuck slaving away in cubicle hell for the Government.

I love everything Neal Stephenson has written. He is a monumental talent.
