watched that it was fascinating it seems some good features were lost especially the independent animal life forms which I liked a great deal. _____________________

I wonder if the Flat Earth Society is represented in SL?
hmmm I'd be tempted to call it "Prim" (after the basic building block, but that may be simplistic) or perhaps "Raw" (after the terrain map file format).... maybe even "Oceania" (since most of the void space is depicted with water) _____________________

I agree, Mael...LL should look at bringing back some form of native ecology. And weather! It should be possible to keep it from raining indoors...just don't let any rain fall below any prims. As for the initial question...you don't need a name for something until there's more than one of them. When another grid opens up, and avatars can travel between one "world" and another, then we'll need names for them. Until then, the world just...IS. _____________________
