Disappearing Skirt - RESOLVED

"undies" what are those?

Trying to avoid the misplaced attachment bug, I had removed my cowboy boots prior to teleporting to a busy, open area. Imagine my consternation when I opened my boots folder and accidentally clicked replace outfit...and on a PG sim.

for the record, i have been able to repair ALL my skirts by rebaking while in appearance mode, then back out, then repeating several times.

i'm good to go!

but now i have a new problem. EVERY skirt (even the one i bought last night in a really cute dress set), all show a wierd transparent type wording on them that says something like "snap shot" ... i can't quite zoom in close enough to read the actual words.... and when i move the camera around, the words follow around and won't hold still for me to read them.

anyone else seeing this? i'd lvoe to have someone come try to read it while i am inworld to see wut it says... or if anyone can even see that. not primmies, the 2L fitted skirts.

I had that happen last night - the skirt was invisible, except for one tiny snippet of text at one side seam. I cammed in close... and it was one end of my 2L tag. You know, the LL group/name text that hangs over the top of your head? I kept alternating appearance and rebaking, but never could get that skirt to come back.

This bug is driving me nuts! (Though my kids would tell you that's not a drive; it's a putt!)

I thought it was something I was doing wrong. I have written do two designers that their skirs till not rez. I see them for a flash, then they are gone, even though in my inventory it says, WORN. It's only skirts that do this, the rest of my clothes have no problem. Some of the flexi skirts work ok. I had the same problem actually with a bath robe, it just rezzed for a second, then it was gone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if it's modifiable, run the length to the longest it can go. this will often be all it takes, but it might look funny when not completely rezzed.

rebake while in appearance mode, and then out. over and over. and then over and over and over.

also, the rebaking MUST be done with the tab at top that gets you into 'character'. ctrl-shft-r will not give you the solution you are after.
