From: Love Hastings Well, the original Doctor Who series was a guilty pleasure for me as a child. But the new series is something entirely different. A good budget, top class writing, actual character development, high emotions.. just so well done.
The spin off is an adult oriented version of that new show.
Very well done.

From: Max Herzog I took the challenge. Stupendous. I am going to make it my life's business to use the expression "feted inner core" in conversation every single day. http://www.fetedinnercore.com/media.html

From: Chip Midnight Not the worst by a longshot, but definitely entertaining (and fitting considering all the accusations of a forum clique lately) - /120/d9/31559/1.htmlIt may make your eyes bleed, but at the end you'll come back and see the forum of today as the extremely tame and peaceful place it is. Wow. Was that the first mention of the FIC? That thing is epic!!! Make that EPIC! I am going to mark that thread and keep it around as reference for when Prokofy comes back to the forums. I'm sure she will, someday. If she's not here now. Hmmm these transient posters complaining about cliques ... hmm ... nah. Indeed, it appeared to me that a few others on that thread (whose names I've never seen before) are still with us here. Not necessarily clandestinely ... just time marches on, alts and mains fall out of use, bannings happen .... but typists remain. And others have, it appears, really left. Again, time marches. But the arguments ... the issues ... seem to remain as well. It hasn't actually been that long in real time, so the social issues are the same. Land blight. Forum spite. Cliques or not. Influxes of new players changing the culture. That thread is school indeed! *hugs* to Chip for digging it up!

And even THAT isn't so bad. I've attended School Board Meetings *And Family gatherings* where the rancor was even worse.

This was a post I made a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago! Probably the WORST post I ever made! This was way before my Gustav identity, I am reformed... I even went to therapy since then. (but you asked for it) so don't poke at me on this one! I still get sensitive about it when I read it...like, EWW!!! EWW!!! EWW!!! (and sorry it's not from RA, but from a closed forum...it's the only really awful one I have...so do I get a cookie?) /234/1e/90180/1.html

That isn't a closed forum, GG.
I was able to post this message (now deleted): "This graphicguru guy isn't the one in the picture, right?" in that thread.

From: Nika Talaj Wow. Was that the first mention of the FIC? That thing is epic!!! Make that EPIC! I don't think that was the origin of the conspiracy theory, but I'm pretty sure that thread is when the term was coined. I could be wrong though. I'll ask the others when we have our next secret mee... oops.

From: Claire Silverspar I never saw the original Dr Whos. I don't think I was even born then. I have never seen a single episode before Cristopher Ecclestion started. i normally have to start at the beginning too, but the new ones are something else entirely. It is as if it has started all over again. There are small references to the past series but these do get explained, and it just adds to the mystery of it all. But then, if it is not for you, that's fine. I'll always think of Tom Baker as the "real" Doctor. And I wished I could be Sarah Jane Smith, even if she WAS always getting almost-ravished by monsters.
