Haha, that's one of the things you can't fake in SL. Well, not any more than you can in RL. ;)

You can fake being dumber though and sometimes that helps a lot to get what you want :)

LOL, Tegg. :)

I agree with Bilbo and others, that there's at least a big gray area between the two extremes. And evidently a lot of people play more than one shade of gray.

It would be interesting to have a bunch of choices in the range and see where most folks fall (allowing them to average among their multiple alts).

And by "at least", well, I mean that it's not just a percentage; there are a number of different variables; appearance, ethics, personality, you name it. I doubt there's any point trying to poll that, though.

The best thing about SL, though, is that you can be whatever you can make of yourself. If only RL were more like that.

Play as real - to a degree as i am in real life not a 9 foot all demon. Wish I was Have great fun scaring people and ripping the souls out. I always was a demon in my head. "::: 6ixth ::: Monstrous Denotaur - Hybrid Demon" is was made it possible to be a chunk closer to that. I dont play real/me all the time so I use the demon avatar. When real-realme is in use I use nightclub male avatar (havant got much else) cause it looks better than I do in real life. avatar as a "dolly" is when you "riding"a mare, dont do that in real life or particulary want to. In second life you can split off once in a while to unwind.

I suppose, deep down, we know that we have to act on input that comes from RL but I think I give the inspiration to the promptings I get from my RL agent. Once my in-world character was determined, that dictated how I behaved in SL. I don't do role playing as such - I am just a resident of SL who explores, makes things, chats, dances and makes a few land deals.
