I have been looking to buy a set of pistols that can holster on my legs but there is so much stuff out there and I am really not sure what ones are the best or where I should get them. I don't want to waste my L's on junk. Could anybody recommend a good store and a good set to buy? I want them fully loaded of course. So if say somebody is on my property I can I guess what they call push them off the area. Still new so I hope I am using the right terms here. :-)

Thank you :-)

Get the XD 45's. I have a pair, and I think they're the best, they come with numerous types of bullets as well as shield breakers. Also voice activated and laser sights that u can change color. I love these damn guns and wear them 24/7 along with my Tech Nines. The XD 45's are'nt cheap though but are well worth the money in my opinion. They'll cost u $1250L and u can get them over at Black Ops. I would'nt get anything else so if u dont have the money than save up for them, u wont regret it.

Hi VooDoo! Just a word of warning. You may buy the coolest set of guns in SL and set off on your adventure only to meet much pain and disappointment. Many club owners and land owners will eject and ban you, on sight, with no questions asked if you are wearing weapons.

I am one of them. Show up on my land with weapons and you can expect some pretty serious humiliation.

Just a word of warning. :)

Land owners have the right to do as they please but,

IMO, wearing weapons and using them are 2 different things.
Sure guns are usually associated with griefers but it would be nice if people weren't so quick on the draw to ban, =P, and the gunslingers were given the benefit of the doubt.
Say you have a cowboy av, whats that without some gun(s)?

I may not like faries, but I wouldn't kick and ban them from my land on sight. ;]

Just my .02$

Cowboys with guns who show up on my land get the same treatment. Extreme pain and humilation. There are no exceptions to my personal no weapon rule. :)

I prefer my ban rifle, but I don't use it very often. It does make dealing with griefers more fun though. Big game n00b hunting. >3

I prefer the chicken launcher I bought; target an individual, fire chicks with dynamite strapped to them in their general directon; they will follow that individual and then explode.

It doesn't do a great deal, at least as I have "push" off on my land; but a stream of little fluffy yellow suicide chicks does often send people running.

Black Ops is the Best Place to me, High quality Equipment.

Now as for people who have a no weapons rule on their land, hopefully you have a sign or note in your land discription, otherwise please give a warning to those who do come on with a weapon.
I have mine on alot of times, and sometimes forget when i go walk about, cause it is part of my outfit, it just slips my mind sometimes when i tp, If i TP and forget and remember as i tp, first thing i do if i know the place has no weapons rule, as soon as i rez i remove.

Voodoo,

I really like the Breach Eagles or the Glock 18c. both real good looking and effective. Also, mainly for looks, check out the Glock 21 from jackson arms.

the eagles can be found a novum.

The Isle of Wyrms (my home) has a no-weapons-use policy. You can wear them, but start wielding them, and you will get noticed by some rather large and somewhat cranky Dragon Guardians who might eat you if you don't put them away. ;)

Outside of that, I don't have much of a recommendation for low-tech weapons; celestial magic is my bag. ;)

Even if someone is on your property, if you "orbit" them without their consent you're violating the TOS.

What about the Desert Eagles at BREACH? Are these any good? I know the detail is the best I have seen but what about the options and power of the weapons?

Thanks!

VooDoo, even on your own property, even if they are griefing the hell out of you, if you shoot them, they can AR YOU. When you shoot back, you are playing their game, and they think that is FUN. If you ignore them, they get no fun from it.

Don't shoot back.

Get a good shield, turn no-push on for your land, and when the come, freeze them, AR them, then ban and eject. The last griefer on my land lasted 5 seconds, max. And I did nothing he could AR me for.

Though there is something to be said for humiliating them first, by dressing the frozen griefer up in frilly pink prim skirts and prim hair and the like, before you kick them out.

I suspect that's against the TOS as well, actually :)

i have 2 guns that i bought and both are black ops
1 is the chameleon XDs and other id the stainless steel MP10s

i also make some of my own guns but its nowhere near the quality of most
but im working on my craftsmanship and scripting

in my opinion, most guns in SL are scripted to do way more than whats needed
and is one of the reasons that i am working on a simple but decent gun code
that does only what its supposed to do(shoot regular damage bullets)

im hoping to also make it DCS compatible

but back to the topic

i like black ops because simply because they are accepted at every combat zone

I stick with BlackOps, Carlos, or S&C because I wander various combat zones, and those seem to be the most broadly approved.

Eh, I have a "take my money elsewhere" policy to match up with the no-weapons policies.

SOCOM M4A2 by Grey Blankes or Breach M4A1 by Eata Kitty ..
Both have a rail attachment system and come with enough accesories and options to deal with most scenarios.
Both are awesome carbs.

For lighter use the Breach .50 Eagles also do the deeds.

A pity the enemy never gets to see the detail :o)

My land is damage enabled come in peace or not.

However DO NOT engage civillians or eject etc .. will be in order ..
Definition .. Civillian = un-armed avatar.
