Frontal lobotomy? I'd prefer a bottle in front of me.

Damn! I was hoping to take up the remainder of the front page with mine.

Neat acronym, Lear. Very memorable.

It's not an acronym . . .

Pep ( . . . says, knowing last time he said that, the thread grew, and grew and grew, and . . . )

PS No, don't tell me that IOTFPBTFOSP means frontal lobotomy in Turkish.

Pedant.

Interestingly enough, it means "God preserve us, you don't half go on some!" although there may be some controversy over the Arabic root of "FOSP" which has something to do with bone china tableware.

You might have guessed foreign languages aren't a strong point of mine. I'm told I speak like Yoda in Turkish.

Nevermind is a classic album.

Anyone ever see Spencer Elden, the iconic baby on the album cover, all grown up?

I never thought you'd be such a perv Mo!

Yeah apparently his parents got 200 for the original pic and he got 1000 for the remake.
http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/12/11/nirvana.baby/index.html

I thought this quote was funny:

"Stuff happens like random cool situations where I get paid $500 just to go hang out," Elden said. "People just call me up and they're like, 'Hey you're the Nirvana baby, right? Well just come and swim in my pool and we'll give you some money.' "

I'm a bloke . . .

Pep ( . . . so leaning on the bar and drumming my fingers counts as terpsichorean entertainment.)

You're wrong.

There is one definition of "acronym" that says it must pronounceable.

There is another common definition of "acronym" that does not require this.

So, it is an acronym, according to a common definition of the term. You're wrong in saying it's wrong. You're ignorant of the common definitions and usages of this term. You're WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

Besides, that, you're just ... wrong!

Admittedly, I'm wrong more often than you are, but I'll do the happy dance anyway.

Update your dictionary!
