But you're going to have be ready and able to prove in open court that you exhausted all reasonable remedies LL's provided to you before you can win against them - however winning against the person who did get your info and contact you offline or expose you won't take anything more than showing they did it.
It is true. I know about the situation and saw the disclosure with my own eyes. It was outrageous. If the person involved was suspended it was for less than 24 hours and not at all, as far as I could see. The disclosure was removed, so the person in question may have gotten a warning what was it, roughly 48 hours later? |

Pussycat, reading your reply I'm thinking that if I'd known you or anyone as knowledgeable back then I would have been serious about taking the subject to real court. Eventually it did cross my mind, but I assumed it would be very troublesome, probably a wrong assumption even though both me and the tortfeasor are not in the US (not US citizens I mean). It is a somewhat distant story already, but it still is good to know that I wasn't as helpless as I thought I was, thanks. I just avoid blondes now  |

From: Merlin Leominster well i have been trying to piece together events of what has happened with the Banning of a close personal friend, if she violated something so hanus all that we can think of is her passing a brazillian girls info in a group chat the where a person that was against this was in there, and real life information at that, but after she tried to calm the girl down and she made he made sexual advances at my friend she shot him down, he in turned had her banned and for what we are unclear but it is a indefinite ban none the less, what did she do, she had a store on a sim that had adult items, she made skins, (MADE) and created other adult items, if she was ever warned for violations of TOS or community standards she was not warned about them at all just one day out of the blue an indefinite ban! AND SHE WANTS TO KNOW WHY, NO ONE IS GIVING CLEAR ANSWERS AT ALL AND ITS TIME FOR SOMEONE TO BUCK UP AND TELL HER WHY IS IT SHE GOT BANNED FROM SECONDLIFE How the hell are we suposed to know? |

Recently I recieved an hours suspension for spam, well at least according to the email i recieved.
Upon contacting live chat support they gave me information and explained what had happened we were abl to determine that the suspension wasnt in fat something i should have recieved (well the live support of course ddid not say this but suggested i appeal).
I know most peopel wouldnt have bothered to appeal but i did not want it on my accoutn as i knew i had not broken the rule in questiion.
After a few days i recieved an email stating the suspension had been removed from my account and it wouldn impact me in the future.
My simple suggestion to the OP's friend is if you are premium contact live supprt and just ask for clarification about why the suspension was given. Make sure you are curtious, the person in live chat didnt do this and they wont be inclinded to help you if you are rude or angry. Get the right person and they should get information about why they were suspended and thy can go from there as to whethr they think they should appeal it.
If they arent premium submit a ticket askingfor clarification abotu why the suspension occured, again being polite and susinct.
There isno garantee with all this of course, but if you approach people the right way you can gt the information you need and can have these sorts of things overturned
