From what the OP say in #8, I think he is looking for roleplay sims. So back on track... I don't know if someone has compared different RP sims with each other, written a rewiev? I think that's what he's asking for. I have only been here. http://www.rpgempire.org/ and before this in some gorean sims, but I but I can't say much about fights, wars and how they are organized. I know some RP sims declare "War" against each other. How much they actually organize it, plan it, set it up isn't known to me. Often it's just a group of friends who get on a raid, a rescue mission is set up etc... Others has to answear about RP areas in more modern settings. A lot of it is "Shoot'em down" isn't it? It's worth to take a look in RPG empire and visit the different places.

Re: SL Military...
They're the natural home for right-wing libertarian gun-loving militarist wannabes. In the coming months they will become active recruiting grounds for voters to support the Manchurian Candidate... If they're not already infiltrated with US republican recruiters.

Nothing wrong with being gun loving, only the free own guns, slaves aren't allowed weapons. And if you think that either of the two major candidates will be any kind of change, you must be sniffing glue. Oh sure they press different buttons, but in the end they both are tyrants who want their boot on your neck.

From: Brenda Connolly Is it possible to be a right wing libertarian? Depends on the scale you use to measure political thought. But yes, it would be. http://www.theadvocates.org/quizp/index.html

I scored 60-60. Centrist bordering on Libertarian. No surprise.

What a comical quiz! Most amusing.
That aside, I think most of the "military" groups in SL seem to have disappeared - or perhaps SL has gotten rather large and they have not become similarly noticeable. I think that there are a couple of DCS2 sims which are on a military basis, which might be worth examining if one is so inclined.

From: Chris Norse You aren't too bright are you?...blah blah blah... Ah yes, I should have expected Mr Chris 'Ad Hominem' Norse to show up. Your agressiveness is as predictable as your politics. How's the blood pressure doing this week?
