Are there preset appearances that I can choose from instead of tediously going through the settings?

You can get pre made shapes and skins, if that's what you are asking.

If you mean avatar appearance, look in your Inventory in the Library folder, there are some pre-made ones in there.
You can see pics of some of the better ones at: http://fabfree.wordpress.com/?s=library Note, you can mix and match the clothes, hair, skin, etc. _____________________
