Age Verification Question

There isn't good language to differentiate between the two. Payment info used verifies your account to access adult rated materials if you choose. Aristotle age verification is another way to do this, but for the purposes of accessing Adult regions and Adult search listings, the two are the same.

In addition, the older program of restricting parcel entry to age verified accounts appears to still be active. This program was started SEVERAL months ago. It never worked that well, and hasn't been widely used, but it is still out there. To access these parcels, only Aristotle verification will work, not payment info. Keeping this program as it is doesn't make much sense to me now that we have the Adult Content rules and region rating, but, for now, they seem to both be in place. The OP encountered this second system. His account works fine for Adult regions (like those in Zindra) but the Aristotle Verification won't go through, so he cannot enter a parcel flagged as being restricted to Age Verified accounts.

Estate owners can also rate their region Adult, and account verified avis can enter there too, correct?

(You've kept better track of this than I have, but I'm pretty sure I've seen some estates flagging as Adult too.)

ok that's what I thought. Very confusing cause I'm sure one of my alts is gonna get flagged if nto both since I haven't used thier info in a long time or it was paypal. Not to mention LL isn't being very transparent about all this.

I wish LL would just have a single page where it said if you needed to verify, link your alts, and offer to verify if needed.

In the early discussions, Blondin mentioned the possibility of linking alts to a verified main, but it never went much beyond that it seems.
