Explore - explore - explore!

My latest passion is Dinosaurs Park, a sort of in world Jurassic Park. The dinosaurs don't chase people around and try to eat them, but there are a lot of fun scripted items hiding in and around the island. Of particular interest to me are the book shelves in the visitor's center. there's also a supposed earlier version that got destroyed, with clues hidden within the ruins, but I haven;t quite figured those out yet.

The M. C. Escher Relativity House is fun for a while - though a bit cramped I thought. Thanks to resident Chel Core for this suggestion.

And there's a lot to be said for the showcase listings in Search. One of the coolest places I've been to lately is in the Showcase, Immersiva, by Bryn Oh. It's what virtual worlds should be like - totally unlike anything in reality.

And if you're *really* bored, I have a playground with a trampoline, swingset, and little red wagon you can push each other around in.

Weston, I love Dinosaur Park! It's one of my favorites. :)

On your recommendation, took a peek at the M. C. Escher Relativity House. You're right; it is a bit cramped, but it does a good job of paying homage to the picture. :)

Heading to Immersiva today!

And lol, some time ago, I did play on your swingset:

Three years old this in June...

...and in three years, I have spent a lot of time doing all the things that people do in SL. I can build, script, texture, screw, romance, dance, and explore.

Turns out the main thing I am good at is making people laugh, so that's what I mostly do anymore. it is a contrast to my lonely, sad real life of eating worms and waithing to die.

#2 - Pull up a map and TP into a random spot on it, then start walking around and meeting people.

PRIMTIONARY!!!! A highly addictive game.

You get a word in IM, you need to build it out in prims, the crowd guesses the word.
Hours of fun, laughter and puzzling challenges. It comes in various flavors, depending on who is hosting it, like group challenges vs. solo challenges, sometimes you get money, there are different languages to choose from, several topics, including adult *lol*

There is one right now at Raglan Shire which is pretty good, PG, English, and has topics and levels. :)

Go here

http://npirl.blogspot.com

to read about all sorts of things to do. They also have an in-world group you can join.

What are your interests? Look for groups of like minded people - see which ones are active and ask them what is good in-world.

Right now I am alternating between freebie shopping (freebie blogs, which are so handy, and expose my av to new places, sometimes very interesting places) and building/learning to make things.

So right now I want to meet other creators and artists, but all in good time.

(One thing I might do in future are video installations, for now probably a park.)

It varies widely with mood. Here are a few or the more common:

Socialize with friends which can include dancing, showing off our places, sharing a movie;
Explore - finding neat new SL places;
Build and landscape - which I generally do alone, but I like being in world to do it with group conversations flowing around me and interuptions and all;
Spending time with my partner alone or with friends - anything is beter with him near by.
Shopping;
and one of my very favorites is meditating - I know it is kind of silly but finding a lovely relaxing scene and a meditation pose then relaxing in front of my computer taking nice big meditative breaths is relaxing in RL.

Oh and about Primtionary - table games (Greedy, Yahtzee, High 5) seem very popular in SL lately.

I build a little and go dancing and exploring. That dino park sounds like fun- might go check it out when I get home in RL (am between builds right now).

Exploring and shopping. They usually go hand in hand. I'l get into my helicopter and either land or crash somewhere, and set out on foot. Or I'll go to a store and then start exploring the surrounding countryside.
