How quick they are to act when money is involved comming their way! - My billing rate jumped to $9.95 - because I had to create an alt to get into the forum and report this unfairness. It only goes to confirm how small the individual's status is in the scheme of things.

Don't give up people one day someone may get a fair system for the small guy. System has always been fair to me. When I was new I accidently returned my land to Governor Linden once and it was promptly given back when I asked. Went over tier once because of a deeding land to my own group and this was fixed when I asked billing. Tiered down to basic and continued to receive $L500 per week for over a year by mistake  LL is just like any other company and they rely on their customer service reps. Those reps can help or hurt you and the chance of a successful encounter is greatly improved if you are calm, polite and collected when you call. Your jibes through multiple threads at LL and continued advertising for Opensim would indicate to me that this may not have been the case when you confronted LL. Just saying for example, if there is a mistake with your phone bill and you call and are confrontational, you are just as likely to have your phone turned off as you are at reaching resolution. _____________________

Jess - fair comment and, in review of my last statement, I believe I may have made a mistake about the $9.95, that could be still standing because of the so called outstanding.
My jibes come after bashing my head up against a brick wall - It hurts after a while - believe me, you were lucky. I leave SL with L$2000, which they are welcome to pilfer, a unknown amount in a vast inventory which, the truth be known is a relief to be rid of - though of course dissapointing, and some wonderful memories. Maybe one day I'll see you in OSGrid. |

I don't own land - I cancelled my Premium account months ago and still they charge me - I spend time going around and around in a loop trying to figure out how to put a ticket in and, when I lodge one, they rejected cause I'm a Basic user - yet they charge me as a premium user! - is this just another Lindens rip-off --- sure I'm mad! You think they are bad, try dealing with the general public _____________________
