Just hit the "Alt" button on your keyboard.

Honestly, this line deserves more love than it got. Excellent.

any one seen good hair for free?

ETD has a separate room of freebies and cheapies to the left of the entrance. HCT also had cute cheapies, and there are some who would steer you towards Gurl 6 as well.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

@ Trout - Well - would have loved it more if it had worked!!! I nearly jammed the keyboard trying that shortcut :P

~~~~~
@ Princess Ivory - Damn demanding Alts! Now she wants a friend!
~~~~~~~~

On another note- I found it funny that I think of the new Alt as "her" and "she" not me! Amaranthim is me - I am having a Sybil moment... I may even do another one to embody my darker nature... boy- this could be fun...

Oh I love Gurl - didn't know there were freebies there- I will look tonight - these others you mention- are those the actual searchable names?

ETD is...HCT *might* be 'Here Comes Trouble,' but I'd try the abbreviation first.

The Gurl 6 program works a bit differently. You must be less than 30 days old. You get a notecard from them. You edit the notecard per the instructions, adding your avatar name and the name of the style and color you want. In a couple of days, it's delivered to you.

The cool part is, you can take your pick of any hair in the store.

Hmm.. it was kind of strange. I finally created an alt and it wouldn't LET me use the same email addy as my main. It kept saying that the email is already in use or some such rot. So, I used my secondary email account for the poor girl. Maybe I missed something?

Yeah, I thought it was kind of strange, given that I used the same info that I have on Raudf, except I didn't go ahead and enter any payment info. Maybe that's the difference?

Well, I'm confused. Oh, well.. maybe it was just borked that day anyways. Or it was they won't allow the email addy domain I used for Raudf anymore. *shrugs* With SL, who knows?

I think it only natural to consider each alt as a different character. Bilbo is always me .. the real me. The others are just that, and when I relog as one of them, that is what I become :)

Raudf, that sounds very odd about your email. Is it perhaps a hotmail account?

The hard part was this morning.. I was tweaking her a bit - my Partner told she was rather homely! lol - so I got to making her more attractive...I kept trying to put my face on her like the original me... If I do another- I may go with something drastically different- like goth chick or a demonic thing or an angelic one- or a beast of the fields... just so she doesn't look like "me"! Yes - still a she though - can't imagine trying to pass for a guy.

I'm a bit confused do they catch the 9,95$ still or not ? On the page it says still i have to pay 9,95$ each additional basic account. So i tried to create an alt and there where no button to pay that 9,95$?? So how do i create a legal additional basic account that i don't get problems or a suspended main account.

In the New Resident's kit that Lucrezia Lamont compiled is also a voucher for one free hair at Diversity. It works basically the same way the Gurl 6 voucher does. Very nice to have the pick of any style in the store :)

Gurl6 also has a few $1 hairs available on the wall near where their Monthly special is. I think it's around that wall, right next to it. A couple aren't that great, but there are one or two that are very good. Well worth spending a buck for. I think one is called Felicity maybe? Great hairstyle and as far as I'm concerned, $1 IS free.

You don't have to pay. I don't know if they're too lazy to fix the membership page or if they're planning on reinstating the fee at some point, but a number of us have had Lindens tell us it's not necessary at the moment.

My understanding is that the 9.95 is no longer collected by LL. So, if you are worried, just just the same e-mail, same user name, same credit card/paypal, etc.

Has anyone with an alternate email tried changing their account detail email afterwards to the main email?
