From: Shu Zemenis I realized that since i started my SL life, my body has had some obvious changes.
Occasional pain in the neck, waist and also darkened eye circles, compared to pre-SL times.
Somehow i am just another typical example of too much online time, i guess.
Ah, time for my yoga now(seriously). Bye. You should do what I do for my crust of bread in real. My legs ache permanently, my feet are scarred from dance and ballet since I was three. My back is completely fu&ked. My arms ache. I have temporal mandibular joint dysfunction and tinnitus in both ears from working too close to certain boxes. My eyes are sore. I am a recovering addict and alchoholic (by the time I was 22). My memory is shot. I am an insomiac and I have high blood pressure - at MY age!!!!! So, you were saying ... ?

From: Ricardo Harris You're getting an awful lot of advice where you're being told to take a break, go for a walk, do other things. The thing is, many of these same people practically live in these forums themselves 24/7.
Sort of like the blind leading the blind. sounds like someone must be lurking and monitoring these forums 24/7. just because it's dark where your head is, it doesn't mean you're blind.

Ah, time for my yoga now(seriously). Bye. I'm not sure I have a body anymore, I was dimly aware of the Police Rescue Squad kicking the front door down and dragging a lump of meat out of the study a while ago No, seriously limit your hours, too much time at a computer mainly SL over the last couple of years, I suspect is one of the factors causing me to lose half my sight in one eye due to Glaucoma.

I gave myself a serious case of RSI a few years ago given the long hours I spent building, texturing, animating and in Photoshop making the textures. Lost feeling in the last 3 fingers of my left hand, extreme pain in the wrists and the other fingers. Lower back pain. You name it. I cut back my online time and my offline time (in Photoshop, Poser, Strata etc). I got a new desk and chair that really FIT my 6 ft 4 body. I invested in an absolutely incredible mouse that was suggested to me by Chosen Few. The Evoluent mouse. I also invest in many various wrist rests for keyboard and mouse that put my arms at a natural angle. Pains gone now. I got feeling back in my fingers. Only took 2 years. Seriously folks take it easy and be smart about how you set up your gear.
