do you try to log in even when it says offline?

What I object to is that I was disconnected with my av in a strange contorted pose mid-AO cycling through stands so now I will have to look at myself in that position for a few times when I log in!

As if I don't look bizarre enough most of the time.

I think thats why they give you the 30 min warning befor closing the door .... I feel sorry for the guys in the middle of a sexual act ... and then his wife/ gf is standing behind him the next time he logs in pffft :)

I didn't read every post on this thread but I wanted to make a little observation.

In most games I've played, logging in when the server is loading (or grid in this case I guess) is referred to as "spamming login" and can cause a lot of problems including server crashes. I don't know if that is true with SL also but I will just wait till it says it is online. :)
