I never used to, but a few weeks ago, I noticed ppl here saying that they were in world, but the website still said down
so I tried and got in now I tend to try to log in, even when it says down. and I have noticed on each attempt the logging in progress bar gets a little longer figured if I keep trying it will eventually fill up and they have to let me in since there will be no more bar to fill  on a side note, just got an error a few minutes ago on a random attempt to log in, which said unable to connect to version server. *shrug* _____________________

Yes, all the time. And I seem to get in when it says that it is off-line and . . end up naked without the ability to put on clothes when I log in when SL is supposed to be on-line.

I on a side note, just got an error a few minutes ago on a random attempt to log in, which said unable to connect to version server. *shrug* I got that too. Then I realised the grid was down. |

yep just got the cannot connect to version manager error again
before that it was the splash screen error unable to connect thing _____________________

My bar is Full ... still cant get in Is it me ?.... or is this way past the time they stated on the blog ? they updated the blog now says 11:30 Never actually got the bar full, without actually logging in LOL now it is a challenge (ack can only post every 20 secs) pffft never happened to me before _____________________

Well at least they've discovered problems before bringing the grid back up.
Is there a new client download with this? Just wondering about this client manager message. Also, what's up with the DNS here. Website has random wobblies. |

yeah it was a DNS error I saw was wondering same thing about the version manager thing interesting error msgs though despite out best efforts.... can not log into the version manager employees only they should have one that says.... "Secondlife is currently offline, STOP TRYING TO GET IN!! Give up, watch the blog, we will tell you when it is ready, maybe. _____________________

SL seems to be a little bit lax about changing the entry screen to tell people that it's up and open, so once it's past the announced completion time, I start trying to log on every few minutes or so.

The trick is to not log off in the first place. Next time hide in some remote sim and hope the grid monkeys don’t find you.
