That's enough, Eva! Extinction is a serious business.

Extinction is irrelevant...

Resistance is futile..

You will be assimilated.

Post your own Obituary here.

Another good thread, Jig. No, that wasn't my obituary. Let's see --

My eulogy, to be read upon the demise of the forums:

"Arielyn spent her final hours of life in Resident Answers trying to goad both friend and foe into voting for her gorgeous chocolate lab, currently competing in a Bissell contest to appear on a product box. Although voting closes for Willow the Wonderdog on February 23, Ari bravely posted the link in her signature and wasn't afraid to barter for votes. Courageous soul she was, as she endured flaming, name calling and snickers for her shameless self-promotion."

No points for taking two days to "remember" it, sorry.

I was "on teh road" - just got home. Resting today. Back on the "chain gang" on Monday.

They were officers in teh Gurkhas actually. I have daguerrotypes and albumens of them. Ofcourse they DID get to the teh Khyber pass. And I have seen dvds of the carry-ons which I really enjoy. I have really studied those comedians and still think Frankie Howard outranks all. Well, Kenneth Williams was a genius. Did you know you can hear his stuff on BBC Radio7 on teh internet? Kenneth Connor had teh best "presence" and his body movements and his spatial awareness is brill. Ah, if only I could say more BUT you wouldnt believe me anyway.

There is a saying that you could usefully adopt: "Better never than late".

Pep (What has the white of an egg got to do with this subject?)

PS You must have studied Frankie Howerd a long time to get his stage name wrong.
