According to some there is a distinct probabilty that forums may be zizzed into spartickles in teh next few weeks, and so despite our electronicism possibly an alien world may be teh last ones to ever read teh forums (and question human sanity). If so, what might YOU like your obit. to be?

I was thinking along serious lines here. But some will no doubt be irritataingly funny. What have you achieved in sl? What would you liek people to remember you by? What would you like to be recalled for on teh Big Memory Stick in teh Metaverse?

I did a month ago,but the love of friends gave me back new life. So for me the big memory is we are all family in this, even the crazy aunts and uncles we would rather forget.

Why are the replies reading more like highschool yearbook quotes?

I looked and looked for a latin translation of "I came, I saw, I ate pie" but couldn't find a translator that worked.

/me won't be going to other forums. My name doesn't really get used outside of Linden's domains.

Maybe heaven is a highschool from which we never graduate.

Has it occurred to you that most highschool yearbook quotes read like epitaphs*?

* As I understand it, an obituary is a summary of lifetime achievements published in tandem with news of a significant individual's departure whereas an epitaph is a succinct observation chiseled into a dead person's memorial: I figure that an epitaph was Jig's intention but I am prepared to be corrected on that - even if I am totally unprepared to write a summary of my activities in SL prior to extinction.

That sounds more like hell.

Well obituary or epitaph is fine. It would be a great chance to evaluate your sl experience in a few sentences. after all, what would you like people to rememebr about you?
