I had an ex who's RL wife used to watch us together.. it was an extreme turn-on for her. That was a bit unsettling for me at first when I found out. But then I realized that this kind of RP is much less about being compared to its RL counterpart, and a whole lot more about being an actress with the ability to affect other people's souls than I had previously thought. If someone wants to watch or listen in.. have fun with that. They wouldn't be watching if it wasn't enjoyable on some level.

You know, this brings up a fantasy of mine that will probably never happen...the Geek's too, er, rigid. Stop that sniggering!

But I think it would be marvelous to do SL sex with BOTH participants having their RL partners present with them. Suggesting things, and doing in RL what your on screen partner is chatting about doing to you...

Does it bother you when you have sex with your partner in sl that YOU may not be "alone" - someone could be watching over your partner's shoulder in real? Or maybe there's a party going on and YOU are the main attraction?

Some people are worried about being with man as woman - but how about men and women being the "floor show" at a stag?

Just coz someone says they are alone doesn't mean they are. How do you as an sl sexually active member face this issue?

well the thought never entered my mind...UNTIL NOW!!!!THANK YOU!!!!!

I am surprised that people are upset by a QUESTION. How can a question be regarded as unworthy enough to be reported to Lindens? I havent suggested you have video orgies. I am warning about teh possibiltiy of danger.

I hate to say where I reside but I dont live in the USA. However I do live in a "free society" and oen that prides itself on free expression. Sl is global. People like me think on global parameters. My job (my career) is to ask questions of my society. They may not be posed as questions in what I do for my living, but people need questions to be asked.

It's NOT sl I am complaining about. In fact, SL is prolly on of the freest of all societies I have come across. If they allow questions to be asked like this then they confirm we ARE a free society. Welcome to this Brave New World.

It's the CONSEQUENCES of your actions or your planned actions that I am inquiring about. When my mum asks me "Jig are you practising safe sex?" I don't go "Mum! How dare you ask a question like that in a PG restaurant!!!" - I go "Yeah Mum, I am but wow, sometimes it doesnt occur to me to ask my partner."

Questions. Questions. Questions. Dont be scared of the question being asked. Be scared of the answers you get.

I'm not a chauvinist, that's bush-league. I'm a misogynist!

That's amateurish. Misanthropy is where it's at nowadays.

Just an aside - I am NOT asking for descriptions of orgies. I am asking you how would you react if such a situation occured and YOU unknowingly were the focus.

I think I would say "meh" and shrug my shoulders. Something like that.

I'd be mildly annoyed for about 30 seconds I think, then just get on with it.

If I were unknowingly the focus, then I guess I would not know, so therefor would have no problem with it

besides I do not do that stuff in SL, so nothing there for me to even remotely fear...

strange question and I agree with honey, should not even be here, surprised it still is...

The questions still here because not enough have reported it yet lol and i constantly ask myself the same question of the "just ignore and let this one die" thread. Perhaps they have given up with the upcoming out sourcing of the forum when all this will stop for good and back to serious business. They should let us have our old forums back lol

Hope the Docs went well :)

Well, it's warmed up to -18 Celcius outside and my reception is just as chilly here. I've played to some tough crowds in my time but you guys beat ********. Lol, I wont get into that debate!!!!

Hey, it was just a question - I know many of you dont indulge in sex or relationships here and teh question wasnt really directed at that segment of our society. It was more to do with "what you dont know won't/might hurt you" I guess. After all some of you live in CCTV land and some of us live in close proximity to others so I was just curious about what people thought about the whole privacy/viewing issue in those terms. Many people here have advocated the use of voice or webcam - well there are implications to using those means of communication.

I dont think teh question was any more off-putting than asking about morals in sl or sex issues in sl, or where to buy the best excitable penis (ew!) and stuff like that. Honestly, if asking (even in teh politest manner) some of the questions posed isnt deemed offensive, surely asking you to consider WHO ELSE is looking at the screen when you are even just conversing with a person - let alone having sex - is not that terrible.

Remember I am NOT advocating group sex on or off line. Some of you MAY have misinterpreted my question.

I actually think it's an interesting question. It has certainly crossed my mind, and to some extent has come up in conversation in world. Generally, if I have someone peeking over my shoulder (during ordinary chatting, not during more intimate activities), I mention to my friends in SL that I have someone 'OTS.'

As for more intimate activities, I'd be more embarrassed if I found out that someone was reading my IM than I would if they were ogling my naked pixels, since the real intimacy is in the IM. My partner tells me that he and his RL family have agreed to give each other privacy during "dates," and I don't have any reason to disbelieve that. That doesn't preclude the possibility that a family member on either side might poke his or her head in the door to ask a question, but in those cases it's usually a brief interruption and isn't likely to involve more than a passing glance at the screen.

I have thought about it and it is one of the reasons I value my anonymity. It doesn't really bother me if there is an audience except that it would be a little impolite not to say.

"BTW my knitting group were over and thought you were great" Is not good form is it? I suppose it would be worse if they said I was crap.

As long as it's less than... 4 people... I'd be ok with it.
