From: Flaran Riggles Yes, EC-e is the latest from Nicholaz. And YES he's fixed the memory leak, the one Linden's couldn't find, couldn't be bothered to fix or whatever. He fixed in 3 days what LL couldn't fix over 6 months???

I got rid of Vista, but I forget, do Vista and Nicholaz [latest build] play nicely together?

EC-e is working GREAT for me.
He's fixed the teleport lag/crash bug (again) and the memory leak.
All hail Nicholaz Beresford!!!!!!

I'm thrilled that Nicholaz has shown mercy! I hadn't even tried his viewers until recently, when the bugs in recent LL releases became intolerable.
I'm not crazy about the Friends List duplication, though, and I *really* don't like the "New IM" tab taking up more space on my chat window. Anybody know of a way to eliminate that tab without borking anything else?

I have always preferred the separate friends list, because then i can see who's on right away without having to toggle between friends and groups.

Hi All!
I got a pointer to this thread here yesterday and thought I'd at least say hello *waves at everyone*
Thanks for the feedback etc. here and helping each other or even pointing out weaknesses. This build isn't far from perfect (the odd mix between old and new style GUI) but it was the best which I could come up with within one weekend (which is as much time as I gave myself). I think it came out pretty good still, my focus had been stability anyway and it just gives you one more choice between the various viewers (I've already heard that others are picking up some of the fixes for their releases).
I'll be away on vacation tomorrow ... so bye for now ...
Nicholaz

Moved up from 1.18.5(3) on BE-v to 1.19.1(4) on EC-e two days ago and am more than happy, thank you! Not a single crash or failed teleport so far. The sea are calm and the skies are blue! And I can now also script 'glow'! Many thanks for your work
