shiny things is a good option..just always make sure you avatar is normal sized /shrugs
Looking for shoes or hair as a medium or small avatar makes me want to bang my head against a wall sometimes.

They also have a freebie box with two pairs of boots - one large and one small pair. And the Free Dove has a box of Lassitude and Ennui flattie sandals. |

I have managed to make a pair of roman sandals from Natalia's tutorials but thats the only flat prim shoe I have. And I need more shoes...
