I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Linden's transaction limits for new accounts ARE very frustrating, especially to new Residents who are excited by the game and want to jump in with both feet.

Two thoughts for you:

1. This too shall pass. Just keep playing for a few days or weeks and your transaction limits will be raised far beyond anything you might need unless you plan to become a land baron and start buying multiple private islands.

2. In the meantime, establish an account at SL Exchange, http://www.slexchange.com . This is a third party site, not directly affiliated with Linden Lab. Send SLX some money via PayPal or credit card, then buy $L on their currency exchange. Then transfer it to yourself in world, or withdraw $L from an SLX ATM machine (they're all over the place, do a Search).

I like SLX, because their fees are lower, and by using PayPal's "Mass Pay" feature you can avoid most of PP's fees as well. I also like the SLX Marketplace, which is often a better way to shop than running around from store to store in world. One caution: lately somebody seems to have been putting invisiprims over SLX ATMs to intercept payments made through them...so be sure you are actually dealing with SLX when you use one. Or do your transfers directly from their website.
