How many times do I have to say that I have done this exact thing before people will believe me???

I have joined multiple parcels into one parcel that did not have a common boundary. All of them were separated by someone else's land - not Linden owned land. I have done this in Bagworm, Quat, and Roslyn.

The only time I've found that I couldn't do this was when I was on a sim border and accidentally included land in the box that was outside the sim.
Exactly so! I also did this just a few days ago.

Three 512 m² parcels in the same region with other parcels inbetween not owned by me. A selection box around all of them and a click on "Join" made them into one single 1,536 m² parcel, as evidenced by the "About Land" dialogue.

Bottom line: Parcels do not have to be adjacent to be joined.

Yes you are correct. You can join multiple parcels into "one" without them having adjoining borders (ie. split in half by a Linden owned road perhaps). Done it many times myself as well.

To check underground:
Ctrl-Alt-D turns on debug menu
Client/Rendering/Types/Surface Patch toggles on and off the ground; when it is invisible you can see what's underneath

Very strange about the prim count...all I can think of is that there is something high up or underground..does any of your land have the dreaded 0,0,0 cords? I hear that objects can stockpile there tho I haven't experienced it myself.

See my other messages, dnali... I'm more towards the high-number corner of the sim, anyway.

Interesting point about 0,0,0 though! One is tempted to comment "very original"...!

I just stumbled onto this post. It seems that I had 800 prims on your land? Well, I certainly didnt do that on purpose, and I apologize if I left them.

I WOULD appreciate it if you contacted me first before accusing me of things I really didnt know anything about.

People DO make mistakes sometimes, and I am no exception.

Have a nice day. Mandy.

This has to take the cake for the longest second beat/last shoe to drop ever.

I was about to say, I did this too. I've got my smaller part that is joined to the other parts of my shop.. and it's wayyyyy off from the rest of the plot.

At least Mandy came in before the 1 year mark had passed.
