I do see being able to AR your neighbor for having their prims go onto your property, Even better - it would be nice if you could just move any object that is over your property lines.

Yes, it could be considered ongoing harassment. When ARing the prims, be sure to quote the number of your previous resolved abuse report. If there are multiple people this impacts on (eg. other people who use the house, other members of the group if the land is group owned), get them all to AR the prims at the same time. I had a similar situation where a neighbour placed mega prims on his land for the purpose of harassing other land owners, and LL did act. The main difference to your friend's situation would be that we had a chat log where the owner of the prims admitted they were placed to harass others. Good luck.

Your friend needs to AR the neighbour. Michael Linden covered long term low level harassment yesterday and said that one of the problems was the lack of AR's to prove it has been going on.

Then bitch in the forums when the owner throws them out ...

Hehe.. for the most part, island living is cheaper (dollar for dollar) than living on the mainland. More often than not, the purchase prices are right in line, if not lower; and the rent (often paid in L$) is less than tier would be in RL $. Granted, you need to do a little looking around & talking to people to be sure you're making the right choices, but that pretty much covers everything (unless, of course, you really ARE a lucky rich bastard...)

I can tell you I felt like I was freed from prison when I sold my mainland parcels and moved to an island. There are more enforced rules regarding builds also.

I loged on one time to find a moterboat on the corner of my property, it's center was just over the boundry(on a rent box plot) so I coulden't return it normaly. As it was only 2m from my house, right next to the room I ws using to build stuff, the constant whurrrr from the damned thing was anoying the cr@p out of me. I discovered that the Mysti Tool comes with a handy little option to apply a push to objects, I sent the damned thing flying right out of the sim.
I should point out that it was a freebie boat owned by a born that day freebie noob, so the come get your rubbish IM went unanswered. This may not be any good for solving your (OP) problem but I just thought it was something ppl should be aware of.

She should put something ugly but legal on her own land and set the land for sale at a high but affordable price - like double the minimum value.

The 1st thing before even talking to him is to AR each of his items over the properity line also have her friends come over and AR each item hell have an AR party and get as MANY people to ar each of his items... btw this works VERY well

The 2ed thing to do is keep up the AR's and keep talking to LL staff (infections) they arent that hard to find inworld
