Conan, I wish your scenario were true, as I do think this whole thing is in serious need of some lightening up, but I think most griefers are just juvenile dickheads who enjoy making others miserable.

Most are, yes. Most fit into my first category. The actual groups, such as W Hat and Second Life Safari fit into the second one. _____________________

You give them credit for being far more intellegent then most of them are. Read the comments from SL griefers that accompany these videos I stumbled across on YouTube, the videos show some of them testing particle and object spammers in SL. http://www.youtube.com/pno3spider I have spoke with many of them who have shown themselves to be far more intelligent, articulate and better educated than 99% of the members of this forum. The comments on the videos are not left by members of the groups themselves but by 'goons' (the term given to members of the griefer's forums who were rejected from joining the group itself). Although to be fair, W Hat and the like only attack people who deserve it - furry paedophiles mostly. _____________________
