Well I'm saying its not like you log on, ask random people to partner you and go on with your day, people usually take months to make that choice. I'm asking why would someone partner and date on SL to begin with. I'm not saying its a good or bad thing to do, I'm just curious as to why. What are you talking about? Have you been inside SL? People seem to log in and partner within 16 hours of visiting SL. Emphasis on seem. They do not take months. Not all. I once worked in a youth club, the kids were beyound your typical bad teen, many had been given the chance to go to jail or join the army, of course all went the army route. When on leave they together with their respective wives or girlfriends would visit the local pub, the 'girls' would sit around a table and talk, the 'boys' would stand at the bar and chat. One day one of the females had to point out to her partner that even when they went to the pub alone, she would end up sat at a table alone and he would stand at the bar alone.
