I was speaking tongue in cheek about not visiting my store

I followed the trip on IM... sounds like everyone had fun.

I wanted to go and carry shopping bags for the ladies, but I had a prior commitment.

well it was 54 the day before it went out, but I had a few later entries, so unsure now. I am still receiving the odd one or two, but I don't know whether to update the list now or after.

Sooooo.... based on an estimate of around 60 .......... and maybe 4-6 shops per trip?

I caught part of the second tour (LOVE your shop, Ethan) and so missed a lot. However, I have the note card and will make a point to check out all the places on it.

What I enjoyed most was moving along in a group and chatting about the things we saw. I hope there will be more of this - thank you for your work, Claire.

The thing is, although I didn't want to exclude any shops, there were so many, I knew we were not going to get through many, so we went off suggestions from people on the trip.
Be warned though, I am going around shops on my own as i make my way through the notecard. I am no trouble at all, honest, but if you come back and your business has been teepee'd don't blame me

Ok, if we need to visit more than the 4 shops yesterday (and the others from the second trip) then we need to organise another one.
Does anyone have any suggestions of good times/days which would cross time zones, maybe from previous shopping experiences?
I am aware that people couldn't go on the last one and I don't want to keep excluding them. Maybe a weekend trip would be a good idea?

I had a great time on the secod trip although I had to duck out to take care of RL.

I was in and out of the second trip and it was fantastic. I love seeing everyone's hard work and the diversity of the creative ideas.

I have the notecard and will definitely visit everyone on it, eventually. It's fun to go in a group, though, and I also think it's sensible to pick up alphabetically where either of the trips left off.

SEE! Who was it I told that Claire just wanted to TP their shop? Glad we talked her out of it, naughty woman!! (We so need a TP animation and temp paper to lay all over the place, that would just be classic)

I went on the 2nd trip, we started at the bottom of the list and made it as far Sofa King...did it continue after that? It had been over two hours of shopping. I do plan on visiting them all eventually. I'll keep going up from the bottom of the list.....and I think my store is the first one on the list, starting with an A, so that will be the perfect place to end the tour

I had to duck out while we were at Livingtree the second time. Even though it wasn't on the list I was glad to finally visit Robin Sojourner's shop first time too!

Claire thanks for your hard work on the 1st trip Managed to p/u several things, mostly at Bradleys place. Wish I didn't have to bail out early, but RL dinner intruded.

BTW, you really were having FAR too much fun on the rack! You make it sound like you were on it for only a few seconds, but umm, I seem to remember it being more like several minutes, if not many more

As far as I know, the second trip stopped at Sofa King/ Shoe Fly. There was only me and Madhu left by then. I just want to say thanks again to CCTV for his wonderful gifts.

I had a crazy thought today... if you ever wanted to employ live models (campers), wouldn't it be great to have a seat for the model to sit, foot extended like trying on shoes, with another spot for someone to appear to help with the trying on of the shoe... like in a real shoe store (do they still even do that, lol?)

A gift card to use in his shoe store. I got 2 1/2 pair and paid the difference on the last pair. They were a little more than his others because they were color change.

I have an idea (that is likely to bite me on the butt) but do we have anyone able and willing to organize a scavenger hunt across all the FC shops? I'll take the easy way out and be willing to donate cash for a prize
