I have a FB account, but wouldn't dream of having an avi account on there. Recent FB privacy changes have now made most if not all your previously chosen hidden RL information now public information, so privacy pertaining to FB rates a big fat zero. At least SL offers a certain anonimity if one chooses to have that. I can't really see how the two can integrate satisfactorily, given the current privacy debacle?

I have a FB account and in there I belong to a few SL groups so anyone who is in the same groups as me can soon see who i am but then again I will tell anyone who asks me

A new Avatar Genocide protest group just popped up on Facebook.
Avatars & Humans United: Petition for Avatar Identities on Facebook We are legion, the avatars who live and work as our digital selves. We may have other names and lives beyond our avatar forms but we live and work as identities that bond with our communities. Avatars and Humans ask that Facebook continue allowing avatars to serve as primary profile pageholders so that we do not unnecessarily delete many hundreds of thousands of productive Facebook connectors. Do we ask all film stars to use their real names on Facebook, or any other media celebrity?
