I'm a huge fan of a lot of Lindens... but one really was a true blue friend.

Hermia, you are not forgotten.

Her avatar name (pre-Linden) is the name of a Caledon street.

No, I won't say which one to preserve her privacy.

Hermia is *definitely* not forgotten. She was the first Linden I ever met.

Lee Linden is my personal favorite who swooped in to save me from my noobness back in the day. How and why isn't important but I am still grateful. :)

Torley is number one in my book. How can you not like a guy who's so enthusiastic as that? His tutorials have caused me to do the 'OHHH, so that's how that works" many times. I'm in awe of that man's mind and all the creativity contained within.

There are Lindens?

Pep (They don't appear in *my* time zone. Discrimination or missed opportunities?)

Sidewinder is my favourite, very cool Av's.

Torely gets on my nerves, he is far too happy and chirpy and positive. Makes me want to throw myself off a cliff.

OMG I am not alone!

I love Torley's video tips, but have to turn the sound off, he is way too over the top for me.

as far as naming phil, I just figured he was a given heh

so... yeah Philip Linden too of course (and M too) etc etc

I haven't met any others but I will say Minerva because I saw her come and make a rude sign go away :) and she had wings!

None of them. They all talk new speak and refuse to give anyone a straight answer about anything.

Gone are the days when you could contact a linden to ask for help, and gone are the days when they swore blind that the grid wouldn't turn into a corporate free for all.

I contacted a Linden just yesterday and asked for help and got it. Are you sure you arnt walking around in a "Lindens are A**holes T-shirt"?

That might explain your negative experience.

Regarding the grid turning into a corporate free for all you hit the nail on the head there so 1 out of 4 aint bad.

Lol, no but that's not a bad idea for a t-shirt *makes mental note* lol.

I've been on the grid for over 2 years now, i've seen how the grid used to be compared to what it is now. And its just a tad disappointing, hence my negative viewpoint.

And if you want to see evidence of new speak, check out any of M Lindens blog posts.
They sound more like an excercise in corporate ass kissing than they do talking to regular residents.
