Vektor Linden for letting us turn his test parcel on the beta grid into a make-shift club a few times during update Wednesdays and for nominating me as Empress of Ahern during the pile-on test for the new groups system

During my first week in SL, I learned about the Totally Transparent texture in one of Torley's vids. I went to his place, but couldn't find it, so I IMed him. I didn't even know what a Linden was. (If I had known, I probably would have assumed that IMing a Linden wouldn't be a proper thing for a noob to do.)
Torley sent a copy of the texture to me and was -- as you already know -- incredibly nice. All the Lindens I've met have been quite nice, but Torley's patience with and kindness to a noob was something special. _____________________
