LOL too bad the facelight doesn't blow up (if I knew how to script something like that I would create my own that blows up)

as it is, this is a freebie I picked up from SLEX after seeing a blogpost somewhere (forget where) about a store employee that banned someone because they were wearing this...

Dang, Rha...that's almost as good as Immy's bomb. Better, maybe...you could pretend the power pack overloaded and...
"Oh, you mean to say this facelight isn't making me more beautiful? Here... Lemmee make some adjustments... Hrmmm...... Uh oh... (o.o)"

1) Find empty area where object rezzing is allowed.

2) Drop about 20 each of Imperial and Renegade Dalek freebies.

3) Activate and watch them shoot the bumps off each other.

4) Repeat until bored, then clean up.

1) Find empty area where object rezzing is allowed.

2) Rez a single prim, physical, temporary and sit on it.

3) Place a script in it with llTargetOmega with a Y-axis value somewhere in the hundreds.

4) Enjoy the ride. (^_^)y

I must confess that my first month building here was a nightmare.I could never finish things before it went dark.I used to see my neighbors building night and day and it wound me up bigtime."How can that bloody bastard see what he is doing"I would think. Then one fine day I found you could alter the time of day. OOPPS!!!

I unlink 1000+ prim builds (Airships and the like) and turn them physical, just to see them explode.

I confess.

Whenever I come across a group of campers, sitting silently, I scream, "FOOLS! GET A SECOND LIFE!"

So far, every last one of 'em has been a bot or afk. Sigh.

Ok, how about a thread where we own up to a kinda private silly pleasure.. some small goofy thing you do that amuses you ... anyone?

Here is one of mine: every once in a while when I'm in a silly mood I create a pair of "New Socks" - no special texture, no extra work, no anything at all, just the quick/easy/default pair of white socks -

then send them to someone at random from the search box.

:)

One time I even sent an accompanying IM saying "Happy Birthday!"

lol - this made my day. Very funny. I wish I'd thought of that. I think I'll send someone some fresh, clean underwear tonight.

My confession is I just love total SL style goofiness. About a week ago, I was sort of down in the dumps. I logged on and struggled with something I was building, getting nowhere but more frustrated. As I was randomly flipping through textures in my inventory, hoping for some sort of inspiration, I came across a headshot of Abraham Lincoln with an Alpha layer background. I have no idea how it got there - maybe it was in some freebie pack.

So I rezzed a prim and stuck it on there. Sure enough, the disembodied head of ol' Honest Abe (sans bullethole) was floating in front of me. Adjust size, attach to chin, adjust location, Presto! Less than one minute of work and I had the world's goofiest Abraham Lincoln mask.

Next thing you know, I was at the hangout handing them out to anyone who would accept one. It has to be one of the silliest things I've seen. People standing around in these dumb masks arguing state's rights and over which one of us was the real Abe Lincoln. We took pictures, but I don't have any on this computer.

It really, really turned around an otherwise unhappy day for me. I got a great laugh out of it. It was totally silly and goofy and had no practical purpose, but it made me happy and I had fun with some of my friends.

Nah, forget the empty area part, dump them on your friends for maximum amusement, especially in times of drama LOL

I like to find freebie vehicles and get together with friends and test them. A session of this usually ends up with me crying with laughter.

Example vehicles I have found:
Giant Aspirin
Flamingo
Beer Mug
Bananaphone
Pot Brownie
Bouncing Rock (REALLY FUNNY!!!!)
Pig Motorcycle
... and many more...

Give us a silly confession
This one time ... at band camp ...

a long time ago ... I made an alt to hide from this girl I was sort of dating. Got skin, hair, a good set of clothes and went out into the world for a little me time. The first place i went (and I swear it was not intentional) I ran into the girl I was dodging. Before I could find another place to tp off to she started talking to me and actually hitting on me. So .. well, I went along with it.

The next day she was telling me about this guy she met and that she took him home. But then she said she was worried he would start bugging her because he(which was me) was "not very good at it."

/me laughs

Oh well ... I guess you had to be there.

For fun I once made a public toilet with a difference. It's exactly what it says - just a toilet out in the open with a big sign above it saying 'public toilet'. I sometimes put one or two of these out in sandboxes. I see it as a service, providing for an essential need.

I live right next to an unmade Linden highway. You can do a circular walk round the eastern half of Jeogeot (the Southern Continent) along this road, which takes about 45 minutes to complete. I did this walk recently, naked apart from trainers. I only met one person, who accepted that my stunt was a worthwhile contribution the SL's cultural heritage.

Another time I made a seal big enough for me to fit inside. I went to apopular beach, waded out under the water and put on the seal and walked ashore slowly to the crowded beach calling 'roik, roik, roik'!

I must confess, though, that I absolutely love sorting Inventory. I find a nice scenic spot, or somewhere with lots of people chatting or dancing, and I'll just sit and rummage, and find new ways to organize.
I would give just about anything to be able to hire this chore out. I absolutely love adding to my inventory via regular shopping, freebie gathering, and various hunts - but I detest the sorting part so bad.

Hah. Serves you right. :p

Kidding aside, though...Dealing with people you know while using an alt is VERY hard to do. First there's the guilt of knowing you are, in effect, lying to your friend. Even if no harm is intended. Then there's the need to continuously censor yourself, so as not to do or say something that would give you away. I expect the stress put you off your game.

Either that, or she made you and was sticking the needle in. :D

Well, I'm afraid that my guilty little SL pleasures aren't nearly half as exciting as the ones already mentioned... but here goes..

One of the things I like to do for fun sometimes is put on my little old lady av....complete with a can and handbag and of course a 'old lady' walk.. Then I'll go visit either one of the top-end skin shops, perhaps a 'stripper' clothing type store etc...and just walk around and maybe ask the av next to me...if he/she thinks I would good in that black latex outfit on the wall.. I even once applied for a dancer's job wearing my little old lady av.....needless to say, I wasn't hired... But I found it hillarious to see people's reactions... :D

Pocket, I used to have that Avi. :) Love DarkDharma's stuff.

I noticed that Avi in DarkDharma's store, then shortly I found "Oldrich" on the list of available last names (it has long since been retired). Inspiration struck and I created an alt named "Bich Oldrich". Bich Oldrich wore that Avi along with copious amounts of tacky jewelry.

The most interesting thing I remeber about being Bich Oldrich is that no one would call her by her first name. I am quickly addressed by my first name in most places but it seemed that almost no one would look at that wrinkled little old lady with a cane and address her as "Bich".

:)

She was usually addressed as "Mrs. Oldrich", "Dear", "M'aam", or "Mum"

Bich Oldrich no longer walks among us, the account was closed some time ago.
