Who here uses a wireless when in SL?

Am wireless myself. never been on anything else since starting sl, have had 3 laptops and a desktop running sl all at the same time before now with no problems at all

I'm wireless, using an AirPort Extreme base station hooked up to my husband's Linksys wired router. I don't have issues with the wireless, and I've solved most of the issues of using a Mac with SL ... I hope.

I use wi-fi all the time. I travel all over Europe/Asia and the USA. The USA is the worst for connection with the exception of India, but it normaly is bearable. I do sometimes have to call the ISP and get another IP address, no idea why, but it always works for me.

I use both, and it makes zero difference.

I do crash a lot. Interestingly, a lot more (and most of a different kind) since I got my motherboard on my laptop replaced (the old one died ... SL musta killed it!) So, I'm convinced my "new" motherboard has a flaw. Before long this computer will be replaced so for now I put up with it.

I think any attribution of wireless to SL misbehaving is a red herring. The explanations I've heard (attributed to SL but without any way to check) all sound like pure bullshit to me, and I'm an expert in computer networking though not specifically the wireless standards.
