Use a portion of it to get this planetarium:

Put some nice romantic poses or dances in it, and just dream...

You are definitely slutty in the best possible definitions of the word. Dirty, hot, and a little scary, but in a good way. I'd like do awful things to you, but I'm pretty sure you'd snap me in two like a twig and leave me cross-eyed, dizzy and confused. I'm giving you a 9.8, tied for the top rating ever given. Almost off-the charts slutty. Shame on you and congratulations. -- Trout

Did you look in-world? It's incredible. Simple and elegant. One friend said to me, "why can't all of SL be this good?"

Yes, it's big. And definitely to be rezzed up high.

Let's say you want to do fashion shoots for 3 outfits, 3 pics each. Remember the point is to sell the clothing, not to make a pretty picture of you. You need to do it QUICK - if you use actual sims, it takes forever to TP there, make sure no-one else is in the shot, set light boxes up, get yourself at the right height in pose ... bleh.

AND ... you do this once or twice a week. Using a studio is just SO much quicker.

You can assemble a studio yourself, I did that for quite some time (with a cut sphere or rectangular backdrop). I still use it occasionally. But you will want a fancy pose stand .. oh i can script it myself, but WHY ... and particle effects ... and a menu system for the lights and textures. For 3500L, its a steal.

Re: poses -- For fashion, I would be surprised if a professional photog gets by with fewer than 100 poses.

Yes, the one I was mentioning earlier has more than 100 poses
Professional studio ("cleanest" one of me):

You are saying that he should get a robot, right? "Higher maintenance" (get those tools out to maintain the robot) . . . "gadgets to toy with" (well, obviously goes back to getting the robot).

Bigwig's a robot, but male.

Let it sit and just spend it day to day on the things I usually buy. Clothes, shoes, maybe a new Helicopter, shoes, a gift or two for someone, shoes. Or just hold it till my next month's tier is due.

You forgot hair, girlfriend ...

I would commission a custom skin, like someone else said, and I'd donate a bunch to my charity of choice (Heifer International). And hair!

This is like US$ 30 right? I wouldn't think the 'honey' would be too impressed with that....

44usd, and if used wisely, he can treat her to a nice dinner at Olive Garden or Outback Steakhouse.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.
