Who are the best of the best?

Just wondering who you all thought are the very best in each of these categories of weapons and combat related merchandise.

Guns

Hand to hand weapons (swords, axes etc)

Hand to hand combat (kung fu etc)

All in one personal security HUDs

Combat clothing and accessories

There was a guy selling a .5m plywood cube on SLExchange recently.

Word has it, that if you sit on the cube nothing can touch you...

Dunno if they're good (they look great!), but "House of Blade Mall" has some great Japanese swords. And you get a combat system with them.

I love my Musashi CSi scripted katana. Wish I knew how to use it more effectively...

It also does hardcore damage if you throw it at someone and it hits them in the head.

I'm going to sell a bag of rocks that you can throw at people. I hearken back to a kinder, gentler age of weaponry, when our ancestors killed each other with pointy sticks and Fred Flintstone clubs. When a thrown rock was a sign of affection, meant not to kill, but only to render a prospective mate unconscious so you could drag her by her hair back to your cave and make sweet, sweet love to her.

On a serious not, where's Alicia when we need her. She has a pretty impressive collection of weapons. I know because she assaulted the Greedy Greedy table at the hangout. The table deserved it.

I have a set of the Abranimations katanas..comes with a hud and blood on/off which I thought was cool... no drips though... can't compare them to anyone else's as they're the only ones I have.

And for personal security, should I ever venture to the wild mainland, I swear by Mystitool - 400 and something Lindens and packed with LOADS of tools and utilities, not just "security".

I can sell you a hand crafted and realistically textured plywood cube for 1 Gazillion too.. does everything it says on the tin it comes in..........

Bah, it's just for fun. Got a freebie shotty yesterday from a friend. Haven't even fired it, but love it anyway.

Oh, now you've done it. You will FEAR THE WRATH of my plywood cube my friend. Tremble in terror as I rain down a shower of small stones about you!

Flee while there is still time. It takes me about five minutes to remember how to build a plywood cube, and then I usually find out I'm in a no-build area and have to go looking for a sandbox. I figure you have about 10 minutes to say your prayers.

Also, don't forget, Ordinal sells a Grid Crash Protection Crate for those in need.

While it may not actually protect you from a grid crash, it at least gives you the ability to Do Something rather than run around, panic and cause more trouble.

She also sells a Personal Ban Line that encircles your avatar as well, along with all the protection that lurid red floating text can bring...

I'll blind him with excessive particle poofs while you prepare the cube of terror. Once I let loose with "purple" he will won't see a thing for a good 5 minutes or so....

OK, gonna ask this here, since I think it IS the best weapon in SL I've ever seen. And a whole thread for this might be excessive, but I'll create one if I have to.

Now... it was a script or such which made variations of "noob" appear and disappear in quantity around the target. The best part is that the target couldn't see it. Freaking awesome. Now I wouldn't use it just 'cause, but I have run into people who really could use a "noobing", and really regretted not having it.

Does *anybody* know where to find this script??

For HUDs and Guns, I would Highly Reccomend the product of The Omega Concern. April Heaney completely turned SL combat on it's head when she released the Infamous Eye of Horus, and her newest Hud, the Omicron, is something I can't live without now, and I'm someone who hates HUDs. Her latest batch of weapons, which work both with and without her new Combat system, OCS, are marvels of combat engineering. And best of all, her customer service is without par in SL. Purchasing any of her items is L well spent, and something you won't regret.

I love my weapons, they are all pink and shinny. Except for the M16 which I use to play snipper on my little black kitty in the yard. My neighbors get a bit annoyed as they have to keep returning my bullets to me, as they shoot too far.

There is a great shop in the warf by Femme Fatal, thats where I get most of my pink shinny weapons, which are really like accessories to me.

I don't know a lot about SL weapons, but went with my partner once to Armory Xtreme Island and watched him and a couple other people shoot at each other. It is completely voluntary so I didn't put the combat tag on and was able to run around with my partner and not get shot at. The combat area appears to have managers on duty that make sure all is being run according to the rules.

They have a store that sells some pretty impressive weapons.

I got a box of freebie weapons from The K* store recently. Some junk in there...but several of the guns are fun. I particularly like one of the pump action shotguns with the lock and load sound.

At first I was vaguely annoyed by this.

But in retrospect, I'll just ask that you and Alyx be sure to properly credit the source where you first saw it, and to refine the definition to mean labelling an avatar who's too stupid to act in a decent and respectful fashion in the game. It's not intended to refer to people who are new.
